Our residence is located in Les Sables d'Olonne in Vendée. It is located next to the many fine sandy beaches: Plage de la Paracou, Plage du Tanchet, Plage de l'Aubraie or La Grande Plage and its 1.5 km long. During your holidays in Les Sables d'Olonne, you can enjoy the wild nature by going for walks or bike rides. The tourist residence is ideally located in Les Sables d'Olonne, one of the most famous French seaside resorts. If you are hesitating between holidays by the sea, in the city or in the heart of nature, Les Sables d'Olonne is the ideal compromise. Alone, with family or friends, enjoy this little corner of paradise and its magnificent south-facing fine sandy beach.

Surroundings

Difficult to find better than Les Sables-d'Olonne to put down your backpack when you are a fan of sailing: after all, it is THE city of departure and arrival of the legendary Vendee Globe race! Located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and boasting a magnificent sandy beach, it is one of the most renowned seaside resorts on the Cote de Lumiere. High place of nautical sports, it is, among other things, labeled 2 stars by the French Surfing Federation. The city is also appreciated for its artisanal fishing port and the famous Port Olona: with nearly 1,400 berths afloat, it is the largest marina in Vendee. Convenient if you want to come by boat!
Consider in particular to visit Penotte Island: this district located in the city center is home to lovely houses expertly decorated with multicolored seashells. Clams, oysters and other periwinkles draw frescoes straight out of fairy tales, thanks to the talent of the "Shells Lady" (artist Daniele Arnaud-Aubin, her real name).
However, even if the ocean is in the spotlight, there is something for everyone, both in Les Sables d'Olonne and in the surrounding cities! Cinema, bowling, museums of all kinds (including the appetizing chocolate museum in La Roche-sur-Yon), bike rides, concerts: here is a small overview of what awaits you.
