Accommodation
This holiday apartment is a great place to enjoy a lovely holiday. The apartment is located on the ground floor. The living room (with underfloor heating) has a seating area and dining area. The sofa is easily transformed into a comfortable sofa bed, which guarantees an excellent night's sleep. There is also a wide-screen TV. From the living room, you have a great view of the bobsled track and the chair lift on the Kappe mountain. The kitchen is equipped with all mod-cons, such as a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and of course a coffee machine and kettle. In the bedroom, you'll find a large, luxury box-spring bed. In the second bedroom a single-bed with extra bed. Babybed available. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. The patio is lovely for sitting out to enjoy the sun (since summer 2017).

The apartment is a new development in a small complex, with a view of the Veltins Arena. There is a storage area for skis and bikes.

Surrounding area
A quiet accommodation in a central location. The centre of Winterberg is 20 minutes on foot. The Skikarussell Winterberg, the Erlebnispark and the Bikepark are within walking distance (a few minutes).

The town of Winterberg with about 4500 inhabitants is best known for the unprecedented winter sports opportunities so close to the Dutch border. But throughout the year there is much more to experience such as: mountain biking, abseiling, gliding, golfing or mini golf. The area has a wide variety of culture, architecture and historical monuments. Various nature parks and wildlife parks are also waiting for you to be discovered. There are many opportunities for children in the area. There is the Peter Pan amusement park Nimmerland, the Mäuseweg with all kinds of discoveries in the forest and the lookout tower on the Kahler Asten. For the larger children there are a climbing trail, a summer toboggan run and a bungee. When the weather is less nice, you can visit one of the swimming pools in the area, with slides and lots of water fun.
