About 1-2 km away there is the nature reserve Punto Pizzo with its Lido, or beach club, marking the beginning of the stretch of beach in Gallipoli known as Baia Verde. Here, visitors have the option to rent sunbeds, umbrellas, and purchase drinks and snacks from the concession stand. Alternatively, a 10-15 minute drive south will take you to the beach of Torre San Giovanni in Ugento. Beachgoers have approximately 12 km of sandy beach at their disposal here.
