In the town of Gran Alacant (8 km from Alicante Airport) on the Spanish Costa Blanca (= white coast) lies the car-free complex of Costa Hispania, where this attractive accommodation is located. Facilities include a common swimming pool which is open (with supervision) from 1 May until 15 September, a tennis court and a soccer field. At the main swimming pool there is a restaurant. The accommodations are situated in a beautifully laid out common Mediterranean garden. The houses are ideally situated for families with children, or people who would like to enjoy a quiet holiday but at the same time want to undertake tourist activities. The house lies only 400m from the beach, where the water becomes deep only gradually. This house has a roof terrace and a small balcony facing south, both of which are furnished. The roof terrace offers an excellent view of the Mediterranean. There is a common parking garage, alternatively there is plenty of parking on the street.

This newly built house (2000) is adequately and completely furnished and is suitable for a max. of 6 persons. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, the other a double bed and bunk beds. The open kitchen is well equipped and includes a microwave, oven, refrigerator and freezer. In the living room there is a satellite TV and a radio with CD-player. In the bathroom you can relax comfortably in the bathtub. There is also a second toilet here. The house has air-conditioning.

On the Spanish east coast lies the Costa Blanca, the 'White Coast', with its healthy sunshine and cool sea breeze. The distance from London to Alicante (by car) is 1888 km (including 1660 via motorway). From London to Alicante by air takes just 2.5 hours. A visit to the city of Alicante (8 km) is highly recommended. Pass the day in this town shopping or visiting museums and monuments. Of course don't miss out on the town of Santa Pola with its salt lakes, also at a distance of 8 km. This idyllic fishing port was once an important Roman harbor. The fort, which dates from the 1600s, now houses the archeological museum and an aquarium. Take the ferry from the coast of Santa Pola to the small island of Tabarca. Only 40 inhabitants live here and almost everything is prohibited: putting up tents, water-skiing, etc. Yet the island attracts hundreds of visitors daily. The city wall surrounding the village has three towers. Several narrow streets lead up to the church square. The most peculiar house is the stadtholder's residence, which houses the island's only hotel. A real must for both young and old is a visit to the aqua park in neighboring Torrevieja (30 km). Here you will find huge slides and several swimming pools. You can enjoy horseback riding with Dutch instructors (beach rides or take lessons) or visit the Rojales golf course (10 km). Summers last long in this area (from the end of April until mid-October) while winters do not get colder than ca. 12 C, so you can visit the Costa Blanca all year round!

Conditions of the landlord:

ATTENTION! Availability is restricted. You will be notified within a few days whether your booking has been confirmed. In case of a one-week booking, arrival and departure are on Saturday, if there is no other agreement. Online bookings are billed directly by e-mail. Smoking is prohibited in the house. Youth groups are not admitted.
Arrival: between 15:00 and 19:00. Departure: by 10:00 a.m. Alternative times are possible only by prior arrangement. You are requested to keep the house tidy during your stay and wash your bed and bath linen when necessary. Please account for the fact that the house is part of a community with permanent residents who will appreciate your consideration of their working and resting hours as well as their values and social norms. The tenant will receive a set of keys to the house. In case of loss, house locks will be replaced at the expense of the tenant.

Deposit to be payed on the spot is € 200. You will receive it back on the last day of your stay, after the house was checked. In case of accommodations with electricity meter, the electricity costs (0.20 per kwh) will be deducted from the deposit. In case of accommodations without meter, the fixed electricity costs will be payed on arrival.
