Holiday in Denmark A holiday in a Danish home is something special. You can not immediately compare it to a holiday in any other country. The houses are situated among nature and usually have a minimum plot size of approximately 1,000m2. Here freedom is (almost) limitless! Fishing in Denmark With 7500 km of coastline, countless rivers and small ponds, one can fish anywhere in Denmark. Of course a fishing permit is required. Houses in Denmark Standard holiday accommodation * Well-equipped holiday apartments for 4-6 persons. * Fully equipped kitchen. * Cosy lounge with fireplace or wood-burning stove. * Colour TV often with satellite dish. Houses with sauna Particularly during the off season. More than 1,000 houses are available throughout Denmark. These houses offer good quality for a reasonable price. Beautiful decor and room for 4-8 persons. * Modern bathroom with adjoining sauna, solarium often. * Cosy lounge with fireplace or woodstove. * Colour TV, often with satellite dish. Comfortable cottages with whirlpool * Modern equipment and sleeps 8-10 persons * Whirlpool, sauna and solarium. * Living room with fireplace or wood-burning stove. * Beautiful modern bathroom. * Colour TV with satellite dish, often with a stereo and telephone. * Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and often a washer and dryer. Luxurious home with indoor pool We offer more than 400 of these houses in Denmark. Most are in West Jutland (North Sea). Approx. 150-200 m2 living space and sleeping space for 10-12 persons. These houses are ideal for a holiday out of season. Bedrooms / Beds / Hems The bedrooms of the houses are no larger than necessary. Beds are typically 70-85 cm wide and approximately 170-190 cm long. Double beds are narrower than usual. Usually the beds are fitted with foam mattresses. A “hems” is an open sleeping loft with mattresses on the floor. Bathroom / WC Bathrooms are usually no larger than necessary. The shower is often a hand shower. The warm water is often provided by a boiler of about 30 ltr. The houses are often connected to a central drainage (sewer) system. Please do not throw diapers, cotton, etc. into the toilet. Plot The plots of the houses are usually beautiful natural sites. This means that they often consist of dunes, sand and heather. However, the parcel size is not always fully usable. Arrival / Departure The key is available from 4:00 pm. If the office is not open when you arrive, you will find information telling you where your key can be obtained. If you will arrive late, please address this in advance. This is also true if you will arrive to the house earlier than 4:00 pm. Upon departure, you must check-out no later than 10:00 am. The key can then be immediately returned. Final Cleaning / Linen / Baby bed and Highchair A good cleaning is required before departure - naturally! If you have ordered final cleaning, then the cleaning will be performed by someone other than the tenant. If you have not ordered a final cleaning and the accommodation is not left in a clean state, the owner reserves the right to deduct the costs for cleaning from the deposit. You can reserve final cleaning, bed linen and a baby bed and/or highchair via Bungalow.Net. You can bring your own bed linen, but please no fitted sheets but simple single bed sheets, duvet covers (single) and pillows for the number of persons. Usually there are single mattresses in the accommodations. Children You can bring an extra child extra at no extra cost! You may exceed the allocated number of persons with a child under 4 years of age - at no extra charge. Inquire at the time of booking. You can rent a child bed or bring your own. Denmark is especially child friendly. Everywhere there are places for children to play plus you will find in the area many attractions for children. Thus you can enjoy a wonderful holiday and so can your children. Dog / Pet A holiday is not usually the best time of year for pets. Do you see a “pet symbol” for our houses? That means you can bring your pet at no extra cost! Of course, if your dog or cat has a boyfriend/girlfriend, you can bring them too - no problem. Only if you have more than 2 pets you must inquire beforehand. Consumption Costs Costs for electricity, gas, water and firewood are according to consumption. 1 KwH in Denmark costs Dkk 1.65 to 1.75. Water costs Dkk. 10-40 per 1 m3. Consumption per week for a 4 person house is approximately 3 m3, with a luxury house and pool it is about 8-10 m3. Danish electricity meters indicate a decimal as a whole Kwh. Eg. 16.0 should be read as 160 KwH. In summer the consumption is part of the standard house (approximately 100-200 KwH). In the colder months and / or with full use of the pool, whirlpool and / or sauna (even in summer), these costs are significantly higher. The costs can amount to 50 Euro per day. During the winter, when a reservation is made at least 3 days before departure, the house may be preheated up to 15 ° C and the cost will be paid by the owner. Above that, and the additional costs will be paid by the tenant. Travel Documents / Passports Dutch and Belgians are required to have one of the following documents: a valid passport or tourist card and a valid ID.

Klachten/meldingsplicht

Eventuele klachten en/of opmerkingen betreffende de gehuurde accommodatie dient u altijd onverwijld ter plaatse te melden bij de verhuurder of het sleuteladres. Zijn deze niet bereikbaar, dan kunt u kontakt opnemen met het TOUROPERATOR-kantoor op Rømø.

Als de klacht niet bevredigend wordt opgelost moet u uiterlijk binnen 1 maand na terugkeer een schriftelijk en gemotiveerd schrijven indienen bij het boekingskantoor.

Een vroegtijdig vertrek, zonder TOUROPERATOR daarvan op de hoogte te hebben gebracht, of het zich niet houden aan punt 11.1 vrijwaart TOUROPERATOR van elke acceptatie van een klacht of elke vorm van restitutie.

Mocht de klacht niet tot tevredenheid zijn opgelost of als geen genoegdoening is verschaft, kan de huurder tot uiterlijk 3 maanden na vertrekdatum van het huurobject de klacht indienen bij een daartoe bevoegde instantie of tot 1 jaar na vertrekdatum van het huurobject bij een daartoe bevoegde rechterlijke instantie.

Plaatsing van uw reservering

TOUROPERATOR heeft het recht de overeengekomen dienstverlening op één of meer wezenlijke punten te wijzigen wegens gewichtige omstandigheden. TOUROPERATOR zal binnen 48 uur een alternatief minstens gelijkwaardig voorstel aanbieden. Indien reiziger hiermee niet akkoord gaat, dient deze dit binnen 3 dagen te melden. In dat geval heeft TOUROPERATOR het recht de overeenkomst op te zeggen. De reiziger heeft in dat geval recht op restitutie of kwijtschelding van de reissom.

TOUROPERATOR heeft ook het recht de overeenkomst op niet wezenlijke punten te wijzigen wegens gewichtige omstandigheden. In dat geval kan de reiziger de overeenkomst slechts afwijzen indien de wijziging hem tot nadeel van meer dan geringe betekenis strekt
