You access the house via stone steps. In the hall there is a coat rack, a table, arm chair, a chest for storing blankets and a closet. The living room contains a rustic dining area. At the window you'll find a single bed. There is an old tiled stove in the corner of the room, but it's only used for decoration now as the house is currently heated by electricity. The second large room is a bedroom furnished with a double bed and a single bed. Here you will also find a buffet cupboard, a blanket chest and an arm chair. There is also a very romantic bedroom furnished with a double bed. The house has typical double windows and also many ornamental plants. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas cooker with extraction fan and a fridge. The bathroom has a bathtub, sink and shower corner. There is also a storage room where you can keep your sports equipment.
The house is situated on a hill, surrounded by a grass field. Next to the house there is a seat, a fireplace and a barbecue (free firewood). In front of the house there is a road which takes you into the hills from where you have beautiful views. Nearby the reservoir of Bystřička (10 km) - where you can swim or windsurf in summer or take a canoe up the mountain river of Bystřičky - tourist routes have been set up. These are suitable for both cyclists and hikers. The most attractive route is that going towards Vsácký Cáb. You can make arrangements to take a tour on horseback as well. There are outdoor pools in Vsetín (12 km), Mikulůvka (12 km), Rožnov pod Radhoštěm (15 km), Valašské Meziříčí (17 km) and Frenštát pod Radhoštěm (28 km). The last one mentioned is a very modern facility and has many attractions like slides and beach ball. For golfers there's a 9-hole golf course in Rožnov (21 km) or you can try the luxurious 18-hole golf course in Čeladná (38 km). Near Frenštát (25 km), in Brňov (5 km), there's a go-cart and a roller blade course so you can wear yourself out. Vsetín (12 km) or Rožnov (15 km) should not be missing on your list of day trips. Rožnov is an especially nice city to visit. It's a tourist town with many shops and cafes plus a large square. The biggest attraction here is the open air museum, where you can see how people used to live in the old days. Every weekend, but sometimes also during the week, there are events held here like old crafts, country dances, and music performances by groups from many countries. Zlín (44km) is the capital of the region and is famous for Bat'a shoes. The manager of the factory had some red brick houses built for his employees, which are very unusual for the Czech Republic. The elevator, which was Mr Bat'a's study, with telex and hot and cold running water, is still in use. It's a nice thing to finish a day out with dinner at one of the restaurants in the area.
