People always say that the province of Overijssel is the Netherlands, only in miniature. In the northwest the geology is dominated by sediments from the Overijsselse Vecht. This area was once covered by bogs. To the west you will find the flat agricultural landscape of Gelderland and Flevoland. Twente lies to the east, while to the southeast the province’s surface is mostly sandy interspersed by small rivers such as the Regge and Dinkel. In the “Kop van Overijssel” you will find the Netherlands main water recreation area - a major attraction with its nature reserves and system of lakes (a wonderful place for hikers and canoeists). The park is located on paved routes and offers ideal circumstances for exploring the beautiful Vecht and Reestdal by bike. From the park you can directly access the cycling route of Dedem and 4 km away is the Reestdal route. This beautiful cycling route is illustrative of the environment. The cozy atmosphere and the landscape are characteristic of this region. But this area also has a large selection of theme parks, amusement parks and adventure parks: Slagharen ( 4 km), Hellendoorn adventure park (20 km), Emmen Zoo (20 km) and Walibi World (50 km). Museums and gardens are in close proximity as well: the gardens of Mien Ruys (4 km), Ada Hofman pond gardens (10 km) and the Pewter Figures Museum (10 km). The Ecodrome lies 30 km away and the Anton Pieck Museum in Hattum is 45 km away. But there are also beautiful castles and manor houses in the immediate vicinity, such as Castle Rechteren and Castle Eerde.

Before you leave the bungalow, the dishes have to be done, the heating needs to be turned off and the rubbish taken to the proper place. The park is in a quiet location so please, no disturbances. If you bring a dog please remove the hairs with a vacuum cleaner before departing. All the taxes are to be directly paid to Bungalow.Net.
