Location

Biking, hiking and relaxing in a rural and wooded area! Or if you prefer, try the new 9-hole golf course situated just a short walk away. All this is feasible in this renewed, spacious, detached house called "Efkes Pypskoft". Appelscha lies in the southeastern part of Friesland, in a beautiful natural area adjacent to Drenthe: the 'Drents Friese Wold' National Park. It is a very varied landscape: heather fields, moors, meadows, forests and dunes: an ideal environment for cycling and walking. From the 'Efkes Pypskoft' bungalow just take a break - the forest and swimming pool are within walking distance.

Interior

This apartment is one of the more than eighty vacation homes in the Valouwe. Each bungalow is free-standing and occupies an area of 600 m2 in a park with a spacious garden. Optimal privacy is guaranteed! You can enjoy the warm sunshine through the south terrace. Efkes Pypskoft was rebuilt in early 2006. It has a large bright living room (30 m2), central heating and an open kitchen complete with stove. There are three bedrooms in the accommodation, with a total of one double and four single beds. The apartment has two toilets and the bathrooms have both tub and shower.

Surroundings

Appelscha is situated in the southeastern part of Friesland, on the border of Drenthe, in the 'Drents Friese-Wold' National Park. Here you will find a very varied landscape: heather fields, moors, meadows, forests and dunes: an ideal environment for cycling and walking. In the vicinity of the apartment there is a beautiful swimming pool which is located in the forest (reachable on foot). The pool is open from the 1st of May till the 1st of September. There is also a pool which is open year round just 10 kilometers from the accommodation. Also there's the 'Duinenzathe' amusement park, a miniature park and the 'De Belvedere' lookout tower nearby. Of course, you can also visit towns and villages in the area. You will find information about all the possibilities at the tourist office.

Conditions of the landlord:

Cleaning of the accommodation: you can do it yourself or you can discuss this on the spot with the administrator and for an additional fee the cleaning can be done for you. Bed linen and towels can be brought with you or you can rent them.
Arrival: between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
You can pick up the keys at the tourism association.

Renters under 21 years are allowed only on request and are required to pay a deposit of EUR 50, - per person upon arrival.
