Location

This holiday accommodation is located in a historic building which dates back to 1300. It is in the Italian region of Emilia Romagna. The beautiful stone farmhouse was recently restored and divided into 5 apartments. Guests have access to a swimming pool with sunbathing chairs and a sunscreen. From the pool you have a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. The holiday home has a shady garden with furniture and a barbecue. On the grounds of the house there is also a farm that grows kiwis. Guests may pick their own fruit and vegetables from the garden.

Interior

This large apartment is suitable for five adults plus two children and is located on the second floor. The comfortable living room has a beautiful fireplace. The fully-equipped kitchen, which adjoins the living room, is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and Italian coffeemaker. There are three bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed while the other two each have two single beds. For a sixth and/or seventh person extra beds can be placed in the bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is equipped with a shower. There is a terrace from where you have a magnificent view of the valley. The terrace is also excellent to use in the winter as it has a retractable roof. Guests of this property can use the large garden, complete with furniture. All apartments have a partly wooden decor and antique furniture which gives the house a rustic look. The house also has central heating, wireless internet and a TV.

Surroundings

The historic building is located in the ancient town of Modigliana. Archaeologist have proven that this town dates back to the first century BC. From here you can visit various interesting villages and towns in the area, all easily accessible by car. Faenza is famous for its International Museum of Ceramics as well as its beautiful neoclassical buildings. At the end of June, the annual "Palio" is held here. This is an old horse race that has been held every year since 1164. Brisighella, with its beautiful castle, is well-known for its Medieval Festival. The Adriatic Coast is only 30km away. Near the estate there is a riding school and tennis courts. A golf course lies 25km away.
