Location

Because of the central location of the accommodation, you are only 7 km from Cegléd and Nagykörös, 20 km from Kecskemét and 68 km from Budapest. In the surroundings you can enjoy cross-country skiing or take an excursion by horse-drawn sleigh. At Szabad Föld you can ice skate on the pond and in the area of Szabad Föld you can take a wonderful winter walk through forests and fields. The towns of Budapest and Kecskemét breathe a cosy atmosphere with their nicely decorated buildings. You can also enjoy the Hungarian kitchen, which is not only tasteful, but also still quite inexpensive.

Interior

The villa has a spacious yet cozily furnished living room. On the ground floor you will find a modern and fully-equipped kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen, in an enclosed veranda, lies the dining room from where you have a view of the surrounding property. Also on the ground floor are a double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath, washing machine and toilet. On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, each suitable for two persons. The first floor also has a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. The villa has its own set of garden furniture and a covered yard which is fully fenced. Rental of the villa includes a weekly change of bedding, kitchen and bathroom towels, plus cleaning (during your stay and after departure). A welcome basket awaits you upon arrival.

Surroundings

This area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Within cycling distance, in the neighbouring city of Cegléd, you will find a thermal spa. Go on a shopping spree in the town of Kecskemét, an absolute must being one of the most beautiful (Jugendstil) cities in Hungary. Lajosmizse (20 km) offers a traditional horse show. Experience the Hungarian puszta at the Bugac Puszta National Park: wide open plains with rare animals. A narrow-gauge train travels from Kecskemét to Bugac, where you can take a tour by horse and buggy. In less than an hour by train you can be in the centre of Budapest. This beautiful city guarantees plenty of culture, recreation and fun!

Conditions of the landlord:

The Dutch-Hungarian owner is present for two weeks in May and during the summer holidays. A caretaker lives permanently on the grounds. Arrival and departure are on Saturdays. In the case of an online reservation, you will receive an invoice immediately. Before departure you will receive an information packet with lots of information, itinerary, tips, etc. 1 pet is allowed. A 2nd pet is possible by request. The fee for pets is included in the price.
