This small bungalow park is located on top of the cliffs above the Meuse Valley, between Dinant and Givet, and offers guests solitude as well as a magnificent view of the valley. Two minutes' walk from your house you have a beautiful view of the Maas- an 80 meter high rock. Waulsort is an inviting place to go hiking or just to linger. Visit the small church and cozy little house from the village, a village that is soon likely to include most of Wallonia. The family park of Waulsort has 43 comfortable bungalows which are situated in groups of two or three and have a private terrace with furniture and a barbecue. You can park in the vicinity of the apartment. There are many cultural and sporting activities available in the area of Dinant. From June to August you can use the open-air pool and kiddie pool. There is also a playground for children and the opportunity to play table tennis. Maps for hiking are available at the reception area. The park has a laundry facility with a washing machine and clothes dryer. The staff of the reception area will be happy to provide you with information regarding all the possibilities offered by the surroundings. At the reception area you can also get discount coupons for various attractions. There are some revised rental periods. Check conditions for the exact periods.

This series bungalow is suitable for a maximum of 5 persons. The total (residential) area is about 33 square meters. The division: a living room with a dining table, TV and sleeping chair, and an open kitchen equipped with a 4-burner electric stove with oven . Next is a bathroom with toilet, washbasin and a bathtub with shower. There is a separate bedroom furnished with a double and single bed. The terrace has a surface area of 13 square meters and is equipped with furniture.

The Thiérache, the area around Waulsort, is a pure delight for anyone who loves vast forests and unspoilt nature. On longer walks and bike rides the foothills of the Ardennes offer magnificent sights. In this region you will also find original museums and a real steam railway which runs between Treignes and Mariembourg during the entire summer season. In winter there are cross-country ski trails and ski slopes. Hastière, 6 km from the French border and near the village of Dinant, is a popular tourist destination, famous for its unique location on the Meuse. Hastière offers some special attractions including caves and a sailing club. The best known and most spectacular activity is of course the famous trip down the Lesse River by kayak or boat. The impressive Meuse Valley is flanked by rocky lots (Freyr), castles and magnificent slopes. Throughout the year numerous activities are held in the 'valley of living water'. Some examples: Carnival in Olloy and Vierves; flea markets in Olloy; Doissche en Petigny on Ascension Day; Soap Box Derby in Nismes at the end of June or early July; the migration of Entre-Sambre et Meuse; open door day at the museums; steam train festival in Treignes in September; and the Christmas market from the beginning of December. In addition, there are specific activities geared for the younger guests: Espace Arthur Masson (animation for children in a former school), steam engine from the three valleys between Mariembourg and Treignes, and the train of Nismes. Of course the playground and animal park with its small donkeys and goats will be the highlight for the youngest guests. Hide-and-seek, hiking and games - all part of the fun in the forest!

Costs for electricity will be charged on the spot at a rate of 0.18 euro per KW. Per pet, the cost is 3, - euro per day. Bed linen can be rented per set (please specify when booking) for EUR 6.50.
