This cottage is located in the town of MOSTEK, in the Giant Mountains. It was built on a hill above a valley with a stream. Here you can sit under the shade of the trees and admire the wonderful surroundings. The house has two accommodations. Your apartment has a separate entrance. The house has a terrace with sufficient garden furniture, and is a great place to spend time relaxing or sunbathing. There is also a fireplace. Firewood can be gathered in the surrounding forest. You can do your daily shopping in the village of MOSTEK which also has two nice but inexpensive restaurants. In the village there is also a large outdoor pool. The location of Mostek, at the foot of the Giant Mountains, makes it an ideal starting point for excursions. You can park your car at the house.
This apartment makes an excellent starting point for numerous trips, both in summer and winter. The distance to the Giant Mountains is 25 km. The main sites in the area are Vrchlabí, Spindleruv Mlyn, Pec pod Sněžkou and Janské Lázně. In the larger cities, such as Nova Paka, Vrchlabí, Dvur Kralove, Trutnov and Jičín, you can go shopping - there's something for everyone. Prague lies about 130 km away and is accessible by car within an hour and a half. The Polish border lies approx. 50 km away. For an active summer there are plenty of possibilities. In Pecka and Mostek you will find several open-air swimming pools with all the facilities. In Dvur Kralove you can visit the Czech Republic's largest animal park with numerous animal species and a safari park (open in summer). Of course you should not miss the chance to visit the famous and unique rock formations of Adršpach and Prachov (all within half an hour). The famous 'friendship route' should not be missed either with its cable car up to Pec pod Sněžkou, the highest point in the Czech Republic (the famous Sněžka). From here its a beautiful, 4-hour-long hike to Spindleruv Mlyn, on the 'roof' of the Czech Republic and Poland. Here, in the beautiful surroundings you will find many marked hiking and cycling routes. There are sufficient restaurants in the area where you can eat at a reasonable price (a complete meal costs 8 €, 2007 prices) and a good measure of beer ('Pivo') is also on the list of possibilities. You can even visit a brewery in Nova Paka. Furthermore, on Saturday evenings there is a great disco in Pecka!

- The rental price includes water, wood consumption, cleaning, linens and internet costs.- The rental price does not include the tourist tax, the fee for pets and energy costs.- The electricity meter will be checked upon arrival and departure and the cost will be deducted from your prepaid deposit ** The deposit must be paid directly to the owner at least 2 weeks before arrival. It will be refunded to your bank account within 14 days of your departure, after the deduction of the consumed energy in kWh (€ 0.15 per KWh).Linen: Linen is to be found at the accommodation. Before departure please place the bed linen in the hallway. Also a cot and highchair are available. Kitchen towels and dish towels are not included, so please bring them with you. The sauna: after use, please leave the sauna clean and do not forget to turn it off. Electricity / Firewood: Please be economical with electricity use in the Czech Republic! You will find firewood stored behind the house. Use this wood for heating and be economical so that those who come after you will still have some. Upon departure in winter, please turn the furnace and floor heating down to 15 degrees (when you go skiing also). Try to be economical with the heating and leave the doors and windows closed. As a good Czech custom, please wear the existing house shoes indoors (a Czech never runs through the house without slippers). Do not leave lights on unnecessarily. In the Czech Republic the power delivery is not always reliable and the use of too many electrical appliances at once (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) may cause problems (for how to solve these problems, please read the instructions at the house).Dishwasher / fridge / kitchen: Please leave the dishwasher empty and clean. Leave the refrigerator off and empty. Leave all the doors of the refrigerator open. Cars: In summer and winter always park so that the road is not blocked for other guests and, in winter, for the snowplow. Garden furniture: In the summer you will find the garden furniture in the apartment. If you go somewhere, please put it in the apartment, otherwise they will be blown away. Garbage: Upon departure put the garbage bags into the container outside or, if it is full, neatly next to it. The key: Upon departure please leave the key with the caretaker. She will check the house after your stay. Damage: If any crockery or glassware is broken, please replace with a similar copy.In case of any damages to the house just leave a message to Bungalow.Net and we will happily help you solve the issue.Rental Period : We rent the house from Saturday to Saturday. You are welcome to arrive at the house from 15:00 in the afternoon, and on the day of departure you must vacate the apartment before 10:00 am. Alternative hours are possible upon prior agreement.During your stay you here as a tenant, you are liable for the property's integrity.The water comes from our own well and is not to be used as drinking water.You must take with you: Food and drinking water (for the first few days). Large bottles of water (Note : stolni voda neperlivá = water without gas) can also be bought in any supermarket.Pets: Pets are allowed upon prior arrangement when booking the accommodation. The reason for this is the additional cleaning needed at the house.Smoking: Smoking is allowed in the house. It is preferable though not to smoke upstairs.Parking: free parking at the house.
