The Statek, a former farm, is located in the picturesque village of southern Bohemian Dudov, south of Prague, between the towns of Tábor and Bechyňe. This quiet and well-appointed Statek is suitable for small groups or families with children. It is comprised of 4 apartments which can each accommodate between 4 and 6 persons. There is a courtyard with a covered and furnished terrace, a beach umbrella, and a lawn which offers the possibility of croquet. Other facilities include a table tennis table, darts, and an outdoor pool of 7.80 x 3.80 x 1.20 m. Under a sun umbrella you will find a sandpit for the children. The owner lives in the house next door. Cars can be parked in the parking lot of Statek. If necessary, you can rent a garage (by reservation). The accommodation is suitable for up to 22 adults + 3 children.

3 of the apartments are situated on a slightly elevated ground floor (one on the first floor) and are furnished with wooden furniture. Some of the rooms even have a wooden ceiling. There are two living rooms and a kitchen. Every living room has one or two single beds, a dining area and a satellite TV. In two of the living rooms there is a fireplace or wood-burning stove. All kitchens are equipped with a dishwasher, electric cooker with hob and oven, coffee maker, kettle and fridge. In one apartment there is an extra tile stove with wood-burning oven where you can cook or bake. A microwave is available upon request. There are 7 bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, except for one bedroom which has a single bed. A highchair and crib are available upon request. The three bathrooms are equipped with a corner shower, sink, toilet and bidet. In one apartment you will find a bathtub. For laundry there is a common washing machine as well as an ironing board. The whole building is centrally heated and has a WiFi Internet connection. If the weather is not so good you can make use of games such as cards, chess, puzzles, etc.

In the vicinity of Statek there are a wide variety of sports opportunities (including swimming), excursions and the possibility for fishing, etc. In and around Tabor (15 km) there is a swimming pool, fitness center and sauna. Other sports activities: tennis in Bechyňe and Tábor and golf on the 9-hole (competitive) golf course in Černovická obora (5 km). Nature lovers can enjoy the Borkovická Blata nature reserve just 15 km away. Only 1 km away lies the Černická obora nature park with its mixed forest on a 2000-hectare site. There are numerous historical monuments in the area as well. The city of Bechyňe(12 km) is a health resort dating from the 14th century, with a castle from the Renaissance, an art gallery and a fire museum. Tabor (15 km) has a unique center, with an underground passages system from the Middle Ages. There are several castles in the area, such as Hluboka on the Vltava River (Moldova), one of the most important and most beautiful castles in the Czech Republic; Ohrada (45 km) with an exhibition on hunting and fishing; Červená Lhota (35 km) with Renaissance and Baroque interiors; the ruins of Kozí Hrádek (18 km) dating from the 14th century; Dobronice (6 km) and Choustník, offering a magnificent view of the surroundings (28 km). 7 km away there is a unique bridge built in the Empire style. In the villages of Hartmanice, Mazice and surrounding municipalities (15 km) you can admire original Southern Bohemian folk architecture. A day trip to Prague(100 km) is also a possibility via private transport, bus or by train from Dudov. At the end of a beautiful day it is always good linger in a tavern with its cold dishes (1.5 km) or in a new highly-recommended restaurant with excellent food (3 km).
