This luxurious yet cozy cottage has a total area of about 100 m2. It consists of 2 floors.
Ground floor: cozy living room with comfortable seating; a dining area; and a luxurious open kitchen with a cooking island equipped with a 90-cm-wide 5-burner gas stove with large oven and grill, coffee maker, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a separate toilet. A private veranda of about 40 m2 which faces south and offers a view of a stream and the forest. Here you will find patio furniture and a parasol which allows you to sit comfortably in the shade.
First floor: 3 bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds (box spring type). Comforters and pillows are available. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, separate shower and sink. On this floor there is a second separate toilet. A washing machine (communal use - for a fee) is available. Wireless LAN (Internet) is available. At the time of booking you can order meals so you won’t have to go shopping and cook. You can immediately begin a real vacation. A BBQ (barbecue) is organized 1 time per week, on other evenings you have the option of a 3-course surprise menu or, if you prefer, just enjoy delicious French fries and hamburgers! You can even cook on the communal grill.
La Bastide is located in the town of Coussac-Bonneval, on the edge of the Dordogne and Correze. It lies 38 km south of Limoges and 10 km east of St. Yrieux, on the edge of the Regional Limousin and de Périgord Parks (Dordogne). The name of the area says it all - a regional nature park with many beautiful hills, green forests, and small rivers. Within an hour you will find yourself in the middle of the Dordogne. The town of Perigeux is worth a visit for its rich Roman history and Cathedral of St-Front, which dates from the 12th century. Coussac-Bonneval is also an interesting village. Here you'll find a 14th century castle complete with guided tour. In addition there is a wonderful nature park in St. Yrieux which has a variety of recreational facilities including a swimming pool, lake (swimming is allowed) and riding ring.
