This cottage is part of the 19th-century country estate of Szabad Föld (Free Field). Irenke has its own veranda looking out onto open fields and woods. The estate has a tennis court and swimming pool as well as a swimming pond and possibilities for jeu-de-boules and table tennis. Szabad Föld is situated in a village known for being one of the most colorful villages in Hungary. The region offers the opportunity to visit characteristic cities, explore the Pusta (steppes) or enjoy a show of horsemanship. Szabad Föld's immediate vicinity is suitable for horseback riding, swimming in thermal springs, canoeing, hiking and cycling.

This cottage is completely furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a washing machine and toilet, a living and dining room and two large bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The child bedroom has two single beds and bunk beds. You have your own table and chairs on your veranda. There's a little garden with a swing at the front of the cottage. The cottage is cleaned twice a week. We will take care of your towels, kitchen towels and bed clothes. Upon arrival a welcome basket awaits you. It contains milk, bread and wine to help celebrate your arrival.

Thanks to the estate's central location you will find yourself a mere 68 km from Budapest, less than 20 km from Kecskemét and just 7 km from Cegléd and Nagykörös. This offers a plethora of possibilities for excursions. Explore the surroundings by carriage, visit the traditional national park of Bugac Puszta or enjoy a show of horsemanship in Lajosmizse. The museum in the fort at Eger shows how the Hungarians checked the progress of the invading Turks. Visit Budapest and enjoy a medicinal bath at one of the old Turkish baths. Go on a shopping spree in Kecskemét, a town bordering the puszta. Enjoy the Hungarian cuisine, tasty and inexpensive. We hope to welcome you soon at Szabad Föld!
