Dry toilet
Some properties have environmentally-friendly facilities including a dry toilet (TC). These are modern chemical / biological toilets without flushing water, but with a special odor reduction function.

Holiday in the Norwegian mountains
A holiday in the Norwegian mountains is both in the mountains and by the water. This unique location guarantees an adventurous holiday if you would like to swim or fish. Deep sea fishing from a boat is possible, but you can also spend quiet days by a lake.

Miscellaneous costs
In most houses in Norway the energy costs and the boat are included in the rental price. Sometimes you can rent directly from the owner.

House Size and Equipment
At the site m2 are the dimensions of the exterior. The internal measurements can be up to 15% smaller. The houses are individually owned and have been furnished/equipped according to the taste and ability of the landlords. Because these are holiday homes the cupboard space is less than you would have at home. Bed linen, table cloths, hand (tea) towels, cleaning products, toilet paper and kitchen towels are not available.

Bedrooms / Beds
The bedrooms are small and are often furnished with bunk beds (see house text). The bedrooms/sleeping areas often have no doors, but rather a curtain. A bed is usually 200 x 90 cm. But there are also smaller beds. Most beds have a foam rubber mattress. A "hems" is an open sleeping loft with mattresses on the floor. Access is often via a wooden ladder / staircase. For adults it is not ideal, but for larger children it makes for an exciting stay. An annex is an additional construction or a separate shelter.

Bath / WC
The bathrooms are not greater than necessary. Sometimes there is no shower / bath or running water. The house is what is presented in the text. Often there is a shower nozzle which is connected to a faucet (hand shower). The hot water is often provided by a (30 l.) boiler. The houses are often connected to a central drainage (sewer) system. Please do not throw towels or cotton diapers into the toilet. Biological / chemical toilet: functions without water but with a special odor reduction system. TC: traditional Swedish dry toilet (outside the house, no odor).

Plot
the grounds of holiday homes in Scandinavia are usually wonderful pieces of nature. However, the entire surface area is not always useful. Because of the landscape it is sometimes not possible to park next to the house. Sometimes you will need to park a little further away.

Arrival / Departure
You can arrive at the house between 4:00 - 6:00 pm. If you will arrive later, please address this with the booking agent (on your contract). Also in cases of early arrival the house may only be accessible from 4:00 pm. Upon departure you must vacate the house no later than 10:00 am. The house should be left clean.

Cleaning
A good cleaning prior to departure is obvious. If the cleaning has not been properly implemented, the home owner may bill you for an extra cleaning charge. Cleaning supplies are not present in the house.

Children
For this property you may add to the number of persons by bringing an additional child under 4 years of age (free of charge). When booking please report this in the comment field.

Pets
For pets vacation is usually not the best time of the year. DO you see a "pet symbol" for this house? That means you can bring your pet at no extra cost!

Travel Papers
Anyone, in the possession of a valid passport or a valid tourist card, can travel in Norway and Sweden. Remember your car is not a travel authorization.

Wohnung / Haus
If in the house text the word "Wohnung" is indicated, it means this is an apartment or a portion of a house.

Shops / Restaurants
The indicated distance refers to the shops and restaurants that are open year round. During the high season there may be closer shops or restaurants which are open.

Fishing / Boat
For the houses listed, boats are available from May to September. Use at your own risk. Please note that life jackets are required and are non-standard boat equipment. Also, you may not use fishing nets which are made abroad. Only fishing nets which are made in Norway are allowed. Violation of this prohibition brings a serious fine (including for the owner of the boat, the landlord).

Pests
Preventing mice and insects from entering the home from nature is not always avoidable. If there is a problem, please contact the owner.

TV / Radio
Without a dish (Parabol), you are only able to receive the national channels. This dish can not received Dutch or Belgian channels.

Water Care
Sometimes the water is a harmless brown color. In case of drought, the supply of water is limited. Please inform the owner in this case.

Klachten/meldingsplicht

Eventuele klachten en/of opmerkingen betreffende de gehuurde accommodatie dient u altijd onverwijld ter plaatse te melden bij de verhuurder of het sleuteladres. Zijn deze niet bereikbaar, dan kunt u kontakt opnemen met het TOUROPERATOR-kantoor op Rømø.

Als de klacht niet bevredigend wordt opgelost moet u uiterlijk binnen 1 maand na terugkeer een schriftelijk en gemotiveerd schrijven indienen bij het boekingskantoor.

Een vroegtijdig vertrek, zonder TOUROPERATOR daarvan op de hoogte te hebben gebracht, of het zich niet houden aan punt 11.1 vrijwaart TOUROPERATOR van elke acceptatie van een klacht of elke vorm van restitutie.

Mocht de klacht niet tot tevredenheid zijn opgelost of als geen genoegdoening is verschaft, kan de huurder tot uiterlijk 3 maanden na vertrekdatum van het huurobject de klacht indienen bij een daartoe bevoegde instantie of tot 1 jaar na vertrekdatum van het huurobject bij een daartoe bevoegde rechterlijke instantie.

Plaatsing van uw reservering

TOUROPERATOR heeft het recht de overeengekomen dienstverlening op één of meer wezenlijke punten te wijzigen wegens gewichtige omstandigheden. TOUROPERATOR zal binnen 48 uur een alternatief minstens gelijkwaardig voorstel aanbieden. Indien reiziger hiermee niet akkoord gaat, dient deze dit binnen 3 dagen te melden. In dat geval heeft TOUROPERATOR het recht de overeenkomst op te zeggen. De reiziger heeft in dat geval recht op restitutie of kwijtschelding van de reissom.

TOUROPERATOR heeft ook het recht de overeenkomst op niet wezenlijke punten te wijzigen wegens gewichtige omstandigheden. In dat geval kan de reiziger de overeenkomst slechts afwijzen indien de wijziging hem tot nadeel van meer dan geringe betekenis strekt
