Location

This cottage, known as the "Island of Peace", is ideal for nature lovers. Located on the north coast of Lake Balaton it offers a wonderful view of the surroundings. Around the house there is a well-kept garden with pool, garden furniture and barbecue. Parking is available. The beach, shops and restaurant are just 800 meters away. Badacsony is a part of the Balaton Felvidéki National Park which offers numerous hiking opportunities. Badacsony is also known for its wine, which you can taste in numerous private wine cellars and restaurants located on the hillside. From Badacsony port you can go by boat to the urban areas of Lake Balaton.

Interior

This house has two floors, three bedrooms and is comfortably furnished for up to 6 (6 adults + 1 child) persons. The terrace of the house is furnished with tables and chairs. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet. Also on the ground floor is a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes and cutlery. There is a dining room with sitting area. On the first floor you'll find 3 bedrooms, each furnished with single beds. The first floor also has a bathroom with a shower and toilet. One small dog will be allowed (for a fee).

Surroundings

Badacsonylábdihegy is the tourist area of Badacsonytördemic. It is easily accessible via the Badacsony Hill tourist road. For vacationers who like to hike and who enjoy peaceful surroundings, the forest trail is a good pastime. The city has only one beach, but the beaches of Badacsony are only 3 km away. The wines of this area are a must to try, and this can easily be done at the various local wine cellars and restaurants. Also highly recommended is a visit to 'Tavasbarlang' in Tapolca. This water-filled cave can be explored by boat. In Balatonederics, 15 km from Tapolca, there is the African Museum. Only 35 km away you'll find the well-known Hévíz, a spa lake resort with thermal springs. Keszthely, ‘the capital of Balaton’, is 25 km away and contains a host of museums, cultural options, shopping centers plus various recreational opportunities. When you pick up the key to your accommodation you will receive a card with which you can get 10% discounts at different restaurants.
