The car-free 'Feriendorf Grafenau' holiday park is situated at an altitude of 700 meters. It lies between beautiful fields and the woods, 1.5 km from the town of Grafenau, near the Czech border (836 km from Utrecht). The park offers a fantastic view of the beautiful mountains of the Bayerischer Wald National Park. Each season has something special to offer. In spring and autumn you can enjoy plenty of hiking and mountain biking while in winter you can go skiing. The ski area of Grafenau is particularly well-suited for families with children. Thanks to the clear slopes and expert guidance, Grafenau is an ideal ski destination for children! In the "Luftkurort" Grafenau there are two lifts, a ski school, cross-country trails and hills for sledding and skiing. In short, a perfect winter destination! A village shop and the Panorama cafe-restaurant are located in the holiday village. The following programs are organized here for children: sports and entertainment, walking coach and sleigh rides, creativity and craft programs. There are a total of 125 cozy ground floor homes of the "green cottage" type which are all furnished and spread over the green park. Because of its location on a slope, it is possible that the accommodation is only accessible by way of a staircase.

At the end of a busy day, relax in your cozy and nicely-furnished bungalow. This 3-room bungalow, with a beautiful view of the varied landscape, has a total (residential) area of approximately 38 m² and can accommodate 4 persons. The bungalow includes a living room equipped with dining and sitting furniture, a cable television and Internet (fee) and a kitchen with an electric cooker, coffeemaker, oven and fridge with internal freezer compartment. The bungalow has a bedroom furnished with a double bed and another bedroom which contains bunk beds (both include duvets and pillows). The bathroom is equipped with a single sink, shower and toilet. In addition, the bungalow has a terrace or balcony with sufficient garden furniture.

In the southeastern part of the Federal Republic of Bavaria, between the Danube and the level areas along the Bavarian-Bohemian border, lies the beautiful Bayerischer Wald National Park. This is a great place to go for a hike through the snow in a mountainous landscape. In this beautiful area you will find romantic cities and quaint villages, culture and nature, history, plenty of entertainment, good food and great beer and wine. Skiers and snowboarders will also enjoy Grafenau. The ski area in Grafenau has three tracks. "Juchhe" near the Grafenauer bobsled run and "Schwaimberg" are located right next to the holiday village! Juchhe has two lifts. There are normal snow conditions here every day. In terms of après-ski you are in the right place. During or after skiing those who would like to eat can have a plowman's lunch along with a delicious thirst quencher at the restaurant of the Grafenau holiday park.
