Sports enthusiasts in the group can visit the Windekind Beach Club (11.5 km) or the outdoor pool at the beach of Oostduinkerke. For nature lovers there are several hiking and cycling trails in the vicinity such as the Yde and Doornpanne footpath and Veurne-craft route. For art and history lovers, there are several art galleries in the area where various exhibitions are held throughout the year. Otherwise, a visit to St. Nicholas Church, the old British military cemetery, the National Visserijmuseum, the Museum of Locks and Keys and the National History Museum of Florishof are recommended. You can also try shrimp fishing on horseback as the former inhabitants once did here. In the evening you can step into the center of Oostduinkerke where several restaurants and cafes can be found, as well as discos and a cinema.
