This beautifully restored original "chalupa" (mountain house) dates from 1900. It is situated at an altitude of 700 meters, amidst a wonderful natural environment which contains many marked cycling / hiking trails. The stone walls and wooden beams form a harmonious whole with the establishment, which meets the requirements of modern times. Around the house lies a garden of approximately 1000 m2. Within the fenced yard there is sufficient space to park two cars. The house has two terraces, one in the shade and one in the sun. There is a fireplace and barbecue for an evening of grilling or a campfire. The parking area and front of the house are equipped with motion / alarm sensors and lights. The house is located high above the village of Male Svatoňovice. Nevertheless, it is just 800 meters to the center of Male Svatonovice where you will find shops, a post office and a restaurant with a large terrace.

Downstairs there is a grand entrance which contains a refrigerator and microwave. The spacious and comfortable living room owes its cozy atmosphere to the wooden beams and wood-burning stove (plenty of free firewood is available). The living area consists of a 3-person sofa, 3 armchairs, a sideboard, dining table with 6 chairs, a satellite TV (with English channels and a sports channel), VCR and radio. A highchair is available as well as games, some books, magazines and movies. The open kitchen is equipped with a four-burner stove and electric oven, extraction fan, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. The terrace room has sliding doors which lead to a spacious and sunny 6-person terrace. It is furnished with two sofa beds with excellent mattresses, two armchairs and a bookcase. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, washing machine and 2 large boilers. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside cupboards, a wardrobe and a table with two chairs. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and a bedside table with a lamp. The third bedroom has three single beds, a wardrobe and two chairs. A crib is available. There is a 2nd toilet here with a washbasin. The house is heated by way of electric radiators.

The house is surrounded by a beautiful wooded area which contains many hiking and cycling routes. Because of its location - between the Giant Mountains and Eagle Mountains - this cottage is perfect for a variety of activities and excursions. In the vicinity you can find many castles and museums. There are sports facilities for swimming, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, etc. In the area there are also plenty of good restaurants. Both Trutnov and Náchod have beautifully renovated town squares, with many supermarkets (such as Albert Heijn, Lidl, etc.) and ATMs. In Dvůr Králové there is a wonderful zoo with a safari park. In Špindlerův Mlýn you'll find a summer and winter toboggan run. Fishing in lakes and rivers is possible (fishing licenses are available). In Trutnov, there is a large golf course, an indoor ice skating rink, indoor pool, karting track, bowling alleys, etc. Additional activities and excursion possibilities are described in the information folder located in the house.

Conditions of the landlord:

The house is (understandably) non-smoking. During the summer you can smoke on the terrace. In winter you cannot smoke anywhere in the house.

Only small pets (such as a dog or cat) are allowed.

Upon arrival you will receive: bed linen and two towels per person, plus kitchen linen.

We ask that you inform the caretaker regarding any damage or destruction you cause. You are insured against it.
