Lake Lipno Resort is located on the 40-km-long Lipno Reservoir, in the middle of the peaceful and unspoiled natural environment of the Šumava Mountains, in southern Bohemia. It is not far from the border with Austria and Germany. During most of the holiday season the weather here is warm and sunny. The lake is very suitable for water sports. At the marina you can rent sailboats. The port lies adjacent to the beautiful, clean beaches and has a social promenade with restaurants, various shops and an information center. You can reach the 18-hole golf course on foot. Culture can be enjoyed in old cities such as Ceske Budejovice (Budweiser brewery) and Cesky Krumlov. - The complex has five 3-story buildings. From your terrace or balcony you have a wonderful view of Lake Lipno. The resort is equipped with modern, luxurious facilities. 100 meters from the resort you will find an indoor swimming pool (free admission in the afternoons) and the `Bolo` Children's Club. The resort has plenty of parking.

This extra large apartment is located on the ground floor in the middle part of the building. It is very spacious with a total area of 97 m2. It consists of a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom and a sauna. The large living room, with doors leading to the terrace (32 m2), is fully-furnished with a comfortable sitting area, a typical gas stove, Internet access and a satellite TV (with foreign channels, Sport 1 and Film 1). For more fun you can rent a DVD player and DVD's (with a selection of more than 200 titles) from the reception desk. Games and books can be rented from the 'game room'. In the living room there is a sofa bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) for two persons. The kitchenette is equipped with, among other things, 4 electric hotplates, a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and dishwasher. You can ensure that upon arrival there is a food package ready by booking it in advance. In the laundromat there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. The two bedrooms are each furnished with two single beds and one of the extra bedrooms has an LCD TV. The luxurious bathroom has a bathtub, shower and double sink. From here you can access the sauna. The toilet is separate. The apartment has floor heating. An ideal apartment for 4 to 6 persons. These apartments are also suitable for children. See 'Conditions'.

Do you like being active? Then try canoeing or rafting down the Vltava River, or go pedal boat riding, rowing, sailing or kayaking on the lake (for a fee). You will also discover that the lake is a real paradise for fishing, while fly fishing in the Vltava River is in itself a special experience (the necessary fishing license can be purchased [inexpensively] from a number of places). The tennis court and toboggan run are easily accessible on foot and during school holidays children can have fun every day at the 'Bolo' Club. Those who desire to experience the quieter side of the beautiful Czech Republic can go horseback riding through the natural surroundings of nearby Studánky, or hike or cycle along one of the many beautiful routes in the area (bicycles can be rented locally). At a distance of just 500 meters there is the Lipno Golf Club situated in a hilly environment. A 9-hole public course is also nearby as is another 9-hole course for those with a membership card. You can unwind on the grounds around the resort with its boulevard and shopping promenade. In the Aquaworld indoor swimming paradise you will find numerous water attractions as well as a bar. Or what about a relaxing massage? You can also visit several ancient cities here such as: Ceske Budejovice with its 'Budweiser' brewery; Cesky Krumlov, with a uniquely preserved city center through which the Moldova River meanders; or the lively and sociable village of Hluboka where you will find some of the most beautiful castles of Bohemia, built in Tudor-style. Also worth seeing are: the castle of Červená Lhota, which is surrounded by water, and the castle and palace of Kratochvil in the vicinity of Jindrichuv Hradec, in romantic "Czech-Canada". The capital of Prague, good for an unforgettable day trip, is 2.5 hours away (don't forget to buy a highway sticker). Leave the car in a parking garage and take the subway to the center where you will enjoy the culture, entertainment facilities, shops and restaurants of the most beautiful city in Central Europe!

A maximum of 2 pets per apartment will be allowed.

Ski equipment can be stored in the basement.

The Aquaworld swimming paradise is freely available during the high season from 4 p.m., and from 2 p.m. in pre and post-season. The legal capacity is 91 persons. In November, the indoor pool is closed.

Once you have received your travel papers and the address of your accommodation, you can reserve ski equipment and/or register for the ski school via the reception desk of the park.

A towel package includes: 1 large towel, 1 small towel, 1 washcloth and 1 bathmat per person.

A kitchen towel package consists of: 2 dish towels and 1 towel.

Food Package 1 (reserve at the time of booking) consists of: bread, butter, cheese, coffee, tea, coffee creamer, sugar, coffee filters, eggs, marmalade and orange juice.

Food Package 2 (reserve at the time of booking) includes: the same as packet 1 + 2 bottles of beer, 1 bottle of lemonade, chocolate, potato chips, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, crackers and French cheese.

At the time of booking, you can specify whether you would like to have two apartments side by side (if you are vacationing with 2 groups) or an apartment close to the ski lifts. For this you have to pay an additional fee of € 15.
