300 meters from a private beach on the Mediterranean Sea, near the village of Golfe Juan on the Côte d'Azur, lies the apartments of the Residence Open Golf Juan. Facilities include a swimming pool for children (not heated) situated in a garden with rich vegetation including numerous palm trees. The apartments are spread across a main building of 5 floors (2 elevators) and 6 smaller buildings of 2 floors. The apartments are simple, clean and practical. Next to the swimming pool there is a tennis court, table tennis table, billiards, bowling alley, fitness room, restaurant, laundry facility, free outdoor parking lot and paid parking. Access to the swimming pool is free, but for the other facilities you have to pay a small fee. At the pool you can rent sunbeds and parasols (rate in 2008: approximately € 15 per day). There is even an on-site doctor, physiotherapist, nurse and pharmacist. For a small fee you can book extra sheets, towels, a baby kit, safe and/or final cleaning. Small pets / dogs, if mentioned at the time of reservation and in possession of a valid vaccination certificate, will be allowed. You can get information at the reception desk on this busy and interesting tourist area. 300 meters away you will find a small private beach with outdoor restaurant (open from Easter to October, depending on the weather). Is this beach too small? The good news is that nearby there are other beautiful beaches to explore. The town of Antibes is jsut 5 km away and the famous Cannes is 7 km. Shops and a supermarket are within walking distance of the accommodation. The park with all it's facilities is well-suited for larger groups.
Actually the Côte d'Azur is quite self-explanatory. Who is not familiar with it from books, brochures or TV? Let yourself be carried away by this busy Mediterranean atmosphere which can be found among the many cafes in cities like Cannes, Antibes, Nice and St. Tropez. Or try the slightly quieter cafes in smaller port towns. You can also spend a day in Monaco where you can marvel at the wealth of this mini-state. But the interior, with the lovely fragrant fields of Provence or the wide range of creative artists (such as pottery in Vallauris), is also worthwhile. At the end of a busy day enjoy dinner under the palm trees. Take the time to live - visit the Côte d'Azur!
