De Noordster (North Star) Holiday Park is located in the Dwingelderveld National Park, a unique nature reserve. All accommodations are detached bungalows and are situated in the forest. They provide plenty of privacy. The bungalows are equipped with all the modern amenities: a terrace with garden furniture, a fully-equipped kitchen with crockery and cutlery, a coffee maker, microwave and kettle. The bungalows also come with duvets, pillows, towels, a refrigerator and color TV. North Star guests can swim for free (from 1 May to 1 September) in the heated swimming pool. In the center you'll find plenty of opportunities for sports and games: a large lounge, mini-golf course, skateboard track / half-pipe and multi-purpose area where you can play tennis, basketball, football, badminton and so on. During the school holidays and on weekends, from April to October, an enthusiastic staff organizes sports and recreational activities for both young and old. For example, there are games, night-stories for children, bingo nights, movies, shows, dancing, cards and walks as well as a variety of sports activities. A program of the activities is available each week at the reception.

This detached bungalow is suitable for up to 4 persons. The division of the ground floor is as follows: a hall, bathroom and living room with an open kitchen which contains a fridge (with freezer), 4-burner stove with hood, microwave and complete dinnerware for the stated number of guests. The living room has a dining table, sitting area, color TV, central heating and wood-burning stove, among other things. The bungalow has two bedrooms (with 2 single beds and 1 double bed). Duvets (single) and pillows are provided. Bed linen is available. The bathroom has a shower. In addition, the bungalow has a large garden and private parking. On the terrace chairs are available. 4XL has, in addition, a DVD player and a radio with CD player. A baby bath, baby bed, highchair and playpen can be hired upon request. You will find a washer and dryer in the central laundry facility. Internet access is present in the park's center.

The surroundings of Dwingeloo are an ideal area for hiking and cycling. The Dwingelderveld National Park offers hours of walking/hiking/cycling through its forests, marshes and dunes. The Dwingelose Heath is the largest and wettest reserve in Western Europe. Nowhere else in the Netherlands will you find a heath as beautiful and extensive as here. Furthermore, Noordste is an ideal place for excursions to interesting sights and attractions in the region. For example, at the Planetron of Dwingeloo you can experience the charm of "surround film" and learn more about the new electronic communications. A rich array of Dutch culture can be experienced in picturesque villages such as Orvelte, where villagers still take their walks adorned in traditional clothing. Of course you can also spend a day at the famous Emmen Zoo. Slagharen theme park and the Hellendoorn amusement park are both accessible from Noordster. Not far from your accommodation lies the largest indoor playground in the Netherlands, Speelstad Orange. A day at the Drents Museum or Verkeerspark can also be a unique experience.

Youth groups have to pay a deposit of € 100 per booking. This amount should be paid upon arrival. The owner will refund this deposit only if the property is left in good condition.
Pets will be allowed solely upon prior agreement. You can bring a maximum of 1 pet, without exception. The fee for a pet is 7.50 euro per day per pet.
