This apartment is comprised of two floors. On the ground floor there is a fully-equipped kitchen and a living room with a TV. On the top floor there are two bedrooms, one furnished with a king size bed, the other with two single beds. This floor also has a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The apartments are nicely furnished and equipped. Every apartment has a terrace with garden furniture, their own garden and a parking place. Pets are allowed. The small town of Bük is the proud home of one of Central Europe’s most active mineral springs. This nationally certified spa resort is located in a Hungarian region on the road to Vienna, at the foot of the Alps, just 50 kilometers from the Austrian border. It lies 220 km from Budapest and 50 km from Sopron. The second biggest spa in the country, it offers plenty of relaxation and fun for persons of all ages. The spa comprises 13 hectares and is a real spa complex with 27 pools. The pools are filled with medicinal, thermal and drinking water. There are indoor and outdoor pools with a total water surface of 5000 m². 11 indoor pools, 12 outdoor pools and 4 half-covered pools with a roof await guests year round.
The medicinal waters of Bükfürdő are particularly beneficial for locomotive disorders. For diseases of the digestive system a drinking cure is recommended. The medicinal waters have a curative themselves, but complex cures with medical attendance are also offered. Services at the thermal spa include: medical examinations, complex medical cures, hydro, electro and physiotherapy, medical gymnastics, various massages, laser, parafango, mud pack, ultra sound and weight bath.
The mineral spring produces curative hydrogen carbonate water containing fluoride, iodide and iron. As a bathing cure it is good for rheumatic and orthopaedic diseases and traumas. As a drink it is a cure for diseases of the digestive system. Respiratory catarrhous can be cured by breathing the aroma of the waters. Osteoporosis, all locomotive disorders, after-care treatments after orthopedic and neuralgic operations, sciatica, arthritis, lumbago, gout, arthrosis, post accademical rehabilitation and diseases of the digestive system can be benefited by these waters as well.
Bükfürdö is not only famous for its spa but also for its cultural and sports programs of which the most significant are: the Summer Festive Days of Bük and the Sports Gala in December.
