Nieheim lies in Weserbergland in the eastern part of the Teutoburger Forest Nature Park / Eggegebirge.

This holiday resort is located close to the village of Nieheim on a small slope with the Teutoburger Forest in the background.
Despite its quiet surroundings you can find a restaurant (0,5 km), grocery stores, a bakery (1 km), a tennis court (0,5) within walking distance.
The undulating landscape around the resort is packed with dense forests, offering a wide range of hiking activities from an easy afternoon walk to intensive trekking.

The village is only one hour drive away from many larger towns such as Paderborn (32 km), Kassel (90km) or Hameln (50 km).
Spend your holiday in a welcoming environment with a lot of leisure activities for all ages. Nieheim is a perfect haven to forget about the daily stress.

This flat is a single story house (approx. 65m²) and can accommodate up to 5 persons.
It consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and bathroom/WC. This type of house features a living room with dining corner and lounge area, a color TV, a DVD player and a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove (4 plates), fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven. Dishes, pots, pans and all kinds of kitchenware are of course available. On the terrace, equipped with sunscreen and grill, you can soak up the warmth of the sun while enjoying a fine family dinner. The access to the building is on ground level.

The Teutoburger Forest Nature Park combines tourist attractions with a deep sense of nature conservation. Explore the park on foot, on a bike, riding a horse or with your car.

The region is well known for its historical heritage. It was in this spot where the Germanic tribes, lead by Arminus, have defeated three Roman legions in the year 9 A.D., thus ending the Roman domination in the area. The 54m tall Hermannsdenkmal monument at Detmold commemorates this historical event.

The Teutoburger Forest area is packed with domes, monasteries and abbeys from the Middle Ages, marking the historical importance of this region.
