This accommodation has an area of about 80m² and can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The apartment is located on either the ground floor, first floor or second floor. The kitchen is adjacent to a room where you will find a table with chairs. The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a 4-burner stove, Italian coffeemaker (mocha) and fridge / freezer. There are two bedrooms, each furnished with 1 double bed and a bunk bed. There is a bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet and bidet. All accommodations are simply yet comfortably furnished and have central heating and a TV.
Abruzzo, situated in the middle of the Italian peninsula, consists of several fascinating landscapes where rugged mountains separated by deep valleys and high plains are a dominant feature. Abruzzo has an environment that varies from green hills and mountains to blue skies and sea. A holiday in Abruzzo means discovering forgotten villages and soaring mountains and exploring a coastline that is sometimes sandy, sometimes rocky. In Abruzzo you will find tall mountains, rolling hills, lush scenery, beaches, rivers, lakes and the sea. The Abruzzo region has three national parks, two regional parks and more than 40 protected areas. Abruzzo, whose natural areas make up 35 percent of the greenest regions of Europe, remains outside the traditional routes of mass tourism and contains a world of nature, history and traditions. In this region, where nature still plays the leading role, you can enjoy lots of natural beauty as well as history and an artistic heritage evidenced by churches, monasteries, fortresses, castles and ancient villages. The landscape is covered with olive trees and vineyards, the pride of the regional agricultural production. Art and crafts are everywhere, as are folkloric traditions.
If you enjoy walking in the countryside we recommend a visit to the nature park of the Schioppo Zompo, just a few kilometers away. For cyclists there are numerous trails suitable for every type of rider. Within a radius of about 2km you will find a public swimming pool, riding stables and tennis courts. Your holiday home is ideally situated for pursuing a variety of activities: (mountain) hikes, bird watching, mountain biking, hang-gliding, climbing and of course, all types of water sports.
Your holiday home is situated in the heart of an ancient olive grove, between the mountains of Maiella and Morrone. From the estate you can take a number of wonderful excursions. For example, the Maiella National Park is within easy reach. For the locals, the Maiella (mountain) has always been linked to magic and protection. This is perhaps because of its structure, which is impenetrable and so impressive and yet so compact and protective. The park is rich in caves and burrows and contains more than 60 peaks, 30 of which exceed 2000 meters. The Maiella is also unique for its location - at the crossroads of different climates - which results in more than 2000 species of flora native to the Balkans, the Alps and a Mediterranean climate.
You can rent bikes on the estate (upon request). The owner produces olive oil. Of course Abruzzo would not be a true mountain region if it did not produce its own herbal liqueur. A short distance from the estate you will find Tocco Causaria, a factory where the famous Centerbe herbal liqueur is made. This area is known for its wine fair: the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
