This spacious 6-person apartment is situated on the edge of the Sauerland and Vogelsberg in Knüll mountains. Here you can enjoy the beautiful green heart of Germany, the Hessen, which is 41% forest. You will find a landscape of (former volcanic) mountains, forests and castles, plus many villages with their half-timbered houses. The mountains provide the ideal conditions for walking, cycling, mountain biking, touring and cross-country skiing. Hessen has a rich historical past. It was the inspiration for famous tales of the Brothers Grimm.

This detached house is part of the holiday resort of Kirchheim and is suitable for 6 persons (3 bedrooms). It lies 60 km from Kassel and is easily accessible. The 80 m2 house is located in the forest on the edge of the park. It has a plot of 1,300 m2. The park has a small indoor pool (free). Parking is available at the house.

The layout and furnishings of the house is as follows: an entrance hall; a living room with two sofas, two armchairs and a fireplace; and a 6-person dining area. The living room has a TV (Dutch and German channels), DVD player and radio with CD player. Via a five-step staircase you come to the mezzanine level where you’ll find a double bedroom, separate toilet, bathroom with shower and toilet, and a kitchen. The kitchen has a 4-person dining area overlooking the living room. Very special. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner ceramic hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.

Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms. In the first bedroom there are 2 single beds placed side by side, in the other bedroom there are 2 separate single beds. Both bedrooms have a sink and a door to the balcony. On the balcony you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the surroundings.

The holiday park is located in the heart of Germany and contains 138 holiday houses (2 types) along with 106 hotel rooms and apartments. A well known resort situated around a 10-acre lake. The park lies in the region of the Hessen Mountains where you’ll find the famous High Sauerland ski area. This is a wonderful and quiet green belt surrounded by beautiful woods.

The home offers a good view of the picturesque reservoir where you can swim or fish, go boating or water-skiing or make use of many other features such as the large green fields and sunny beaches. In winter it’s a perfect place for ice-skating.

There is plenty to see in the wider area including historical and cultural sites plus there are numerous attractions for children like the theme parks of:

• Halligallie in Alsfeld (26 km). The city of Alsfeld is a World Heritage site and is certainly worth a look. There is also a fairy museum (Museum Märchen).
• Bibberino in Bebra (30 km).
• Frielo-land in Frielanddorf (43 km).
• Takka-Tukke in Fulda (45 km).
• Kila Kinderland in Eschwege (62 km).
• Erlebnispark Steinau (78 km). Here there is plenty to do, even for teenagers.
• Erlebnispark Ziegehage (88 km).
• There is also a large amusement park in Lochmühle (100 km).
• Taunus Wonderland (164 km).

For golfers Hessen is a Valhalla: there are no fewer than 37 beautiful golf courses. The first is just 4 km away. Cyclists, mountain bikers, joggers and other sports fans have every opportunity to enjoy their favorite sport.

In short, there is plenty of entertainment for everyone!

If you are using a navigation system it is best to set it for Reimboldshausen or the zip code 36275.

The park is located on the A4 and A7. Leave the motorway at the junction and follow the signs for Seepark Kirchheim. After ± 3 km you will see the reservoir on the left and the holiday park on the right.

About the midway point of the lake, on the left, you will find the reception.

Arrival:

You can check-in at the reception. You can also pick up the key to the house plus receive any necessary information.

Before you receive the key, be sure to pay the deposit of € 50.00.

The accommodation is available from 3:00 pm.

Along with the keys you will receive a Seepark Card which allows you free access to the pool. The card must be surrendered at the reception desk upon departure. Loss or theft of the card will incur a charge of € 50.00.

Pool:

Use of the indoor swimming pool of the park is free.

Linen:

You can rent linen locally for € 10.00 pp. If you bring your own sheets, you should take into account the different sizes of the beds.

Pets:

Pets will be allowed upon request. A maximum of 1 dog or a cat. Please do not allow pets to sleep on the couch or beds.

Departure:

Upon departure, the house should be swept clean. Pots and pans are to be cleaned and placed in the cupboards. The refrigerator and freezer should be left clean and the dishwasher emptied. If the property is left clean, no additional costs will be deducted from the deposit.

Upon departure, please return the house key and Seepark Card by 10:00 am.
