The park is situated in the beautiful Chiemgau near the town of Ruhpolding, famous for its biathlon events, at an altitude of approximately 650 m. The park is ringed by extensive meadows and lies at the edge of the picturesque small town of Eisenärzt. The scenic landscape invites the visitor to go on long romantic strolls or on more active hikes and bike rides. The Chiemsee is around 25 km away and the view of the landscape is dominated by the splendid Bavarian Alps. Munich is about 1 hour away.

Attention, Bayernpark Ruhpolding is closed from 7-11-2011 until 23-12-2011 and from 5-11-2012 until 21-12-2012. Before and after the season we don't provide all park facilities.

This 4-room cottage is suitalbe for up to 6 persons and is specially adapted for disabled.The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one bedroom with two single box spring beds and two bedrooms with bunk beds, living room with sitting/eating area with colour TV, bathroom with shower and has a toilet for disabled. There is a kitchen with oven, refrigerator and coffee-maker. Internet access (for a fee) and patio with furniture.

Bayernpark Ruhpolding (op 650 meter hoogte) in Oberbayern heeft alles voor een geslaagde doe-vakantie: de Alpen en de Chiemsee. Zo kunt u er in de zomermaanden (berg)wandelingen en fiets-/mountainbiketochten maken, maar even goed surfen, zeilen en zwemmen. Ook in de winter biedt deze regio, met een skigebied, drie pistes en ruim 60 km langlaufloipes, volop vakantieplezier. Enthousiaste wintersportliefhebbers kunnen zelfs al meteen vanaf het park starten. Het park ligt op 5 autominuten van de bekende wintersportplaats Ruhpolding, waar u kunt skiën, sleeën en snowboarden. Bayernpark Ruhpolding bestaat uit vrijstaande en geschakelde greencottages. U kunt er beach-volleyballen of in uw eigen tempo de fiets- en wandelroutes op het terrein verkennen. De kinderen hebben hun eigen speelterreinen. Bovendien is er een sport- en animatieprogramma en zijn er allerlei creatieve activiteiten en knutselmogelijkheden. Ontspannen kan prima in de kleine maar fijne sauna. Op 10 km afstand van het park bevindt zich een subtropisch zwemparadijs.
