This very spacious 5-bedroom villa can accommodate up to 10 persons and offers plenty of comfort and luxury as well as a warm and cozy atmosphere. Via the back door you enter a hall where your sports gear and skis can be stored. From the hall with tiled floor you can access the bedrooms of the ground floor. At the end of the hall there is a cozy living room and a spacious kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all possible amenities including an electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge / freezer, coffee maker (Senseo) and toaster. The dining area adjoins the kitchen and consists of a dining table with 10 chairs. The cozy living room has a comfortable sofa, coffee table, TV with Canal Digital (Dutch programs) and a wood-burning stove which, together with the wood floors and massive beams, creates a warm atmosphere. On the ground floor there are 4 double bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom with private bathroom. In addition there is a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower plus the entry hall also houses a washing machine and separate toilet. A staircase leads to the spacious upper floor where you will find the 5th bedroom. This has 2 beds, a TV with VCR and a chair where you can sit and relax. Even the little ones have not been forgotten: a playpen, crib and high chair are available. There is no bed linen for the crib, so please bring your own. The villa is centrally heated by means of electric radiators and wireless internet is available so you can use your laptop. The garden surrounding the villa is accessible from the kitchen and to the left there is a furnished terrace. A picturesque view of the valley is assured!
With the Giant Mountains next door, nothing can go wrong for nature lovers, hikers and (mountain) bikers. In Žacléř there is a mine where up until 10 years ago coal was still mined. With helmet, rubber clothing and a miner’s lamp you will guided through the dark, subterranean world. Stachelberg (3.2 km) is a military fort that was never completed. The extensive underground tunnels can be visited with a guide. Trutnov (12 km) is the nearest large city. On its square stands a statue of the giant Krakonoš, whom the Giant Mountains are named after. Here you can enjoy shopping and fine dining. There is also a beautiful outdoor pool with sauna, solarium and fitness room and a natural pool ("Dolce") with clean water. There’s even a specially designated shallow area for children. Bobsled, monkey climbs and more await you at Pec pod Sněžkou (27 km) in summer. You can take the chairlift to the top of the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, “Snowhead”. The unique nature area of Adršpach (32 miles), with its 16,000 jagged sandstone rocks, is an ideal place to stroll around or go mountain climbing and rappelling. The zoo of Dvur Kralove (32 km) contains the largest collection of animals in the Czech Republic: about 2700 animals on 64 hectares. You can even take a safari bus tour. Situated in a beautiful area, from here you can visit the nearby castle of Kuks. Ride a real horse, pony or donkey. Riding lessons and day trips for persons of all ages are available in Kněžická Chalupa (on the road from Vrchlabí to Špindlerův Mlýn; 39 km). Of course in the Giant Mountains there is much more to see and do than can be described here. And a day in Prague is an experience that should not be missed. In just 2 ½ hours (by car) you can be in the most beautiful city in Central Europe. Must sees include Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and the 750-meter-long Wenceslas Square. A holiday at this villa is sure to be unforgettable!

Pets are not allowed. Bed linen is included in the price. You should bring towels and dishcloths with you. 1 m3 of firewood is included in the price, additional consumption costs extra. The service costs, final cleaning and energy consumption are to be settled locally with the administrator. The house needs to be left tidy upon departure. That includes the following: - All trash bins must be emptied and the garbage taken to the appropriate containers. - Ashes from the fireplace must be emptied and the fireplace cleaned. - The dishwasher must be emptied and the dishes need to be placed in the cabinet. - The refrigerator should be left clean and empty.
