Val d'Isere itself is a lively resort with some great Apres ski and fine dining options to suit all budgets. There's plenty on offer away from the slopes from cinema, full sports complex with pool, spa facilities, ice-skating, you can take to the skies and try out paragliding (or Parapenting as it's better known in France).
