The capital, Brussels, should also not be missed. Visit the Grand Place, the central square of the city. You will find here the famous Manneken Pis, the Atomium and the Bruparck. When you are traveling with children during your spring holiday Brupark is a fun place to visit, with its famous European miniature buildings, a nice pool with lots of slides, the huge cinema screen, the nice shops and the great playground. If you or your children love comics, a visit to the Comic Museum could be very nice. In the city of Brussels there are also many walls adorned with beautiful comics. History can be found in the Flanders Fields Museum, displaying world war I venues and the way that people lived and experienced the war. Belgium is also known as the beer country. In Belgium the ancient traditions coexist with its many types of beer. There are also many smaller and larger breweries that you can visit.
