Situated in the middle of the Netherlands, adjacent to the Utrecht Ridge, lies the Great Forest holiday park. The unique and central location makes this a perfect destination for both young and old. The park itself boasts a spacious restaurant with a bar and four bowling alleys, which are open year round (in the winter open only on weekends and on Wednesdays). The resort has something for everyone. Magic Bowling with its lights and fluorescent balls is a true experience. For children there are three pools: a recreational pool, a paddling pool and a toddler pool. There is a heated outdoor pool (open from April 27th to September 10th) - with infant and toddler pools – near the park which has a family slide, rapids and a vast sunbathing area. You can also swim in the Henschotermeer, a natural lake situated in the middle of the forest or in the subtropical swimming pool called "De Zwoer" located just a short distance away. There are also many opportunities for sports and games. Playgrounds are scattered throughout the park, near the campsites and bungalows. Bicycles, go-karts and carts are available for rent. In the catering establishments, you are assured of a wide variety of fresh products and all at very low prices. Furthermore, the park has the following facilities: cafe / bar, supermarket, laundry, recreation rooms, Internet cafe and hotspot, lawn, fossil field, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, bowling alley, mini-golf course and a basketball court.

This detached bungalow can accommodate up to 4 persons. It has a total (living) area of approximately 42 m2. The layout of the ground floor is as follows: a hall, toilet and living room with an open kitchen (with fridge [some with freezers], 4-burner stove with extraction fan and microwave plus full dinnerware for the stated number of guests). The living room has a dining table and a sitting area with television and fireplace (or wood-burning stove). This bungalow has 2 bedrooms with a total of two single beds and 1 bunk bed. Duvets (single) and pillows are available. Linen is included in the price. The bungalow has a bathroom with a shower. The toilet is located in a separate room. The bungalow has its own parking area. Outside on the terrace you will find sufficient garden furniture at your disposal. There is a washing machine and dryer in the park. Baby bath, crib and highchair are available for free (upon request).

The “Great Forest of Doorn” is centrally located in the Netherlands. It borders the National Park of Utrecht Ridge. The landscape is hilly and contains vast forests and estates which have been turned into fruit-growing areas. You can swim at the subtropical swimming pool of Driebergen, the Zwoer (a free swimming pool, open year round) or at the Henschotermeer, a unique swimming lake with white Caribbean beaches in the midst of a forest. A visit to the restored Pyramid of Austerlitz, a stronghold from the time of Napoleon, is very worthwhile. There is also a large playground nearby. Doorn was the last residence of the German emperor, Kaiser Wilhelm II. There is a small mausoleum built for him in the park beside the house. There are interesting tours for both young and old. Two zoos can be found in the area: Ouwenhands Zoo in Rhenen and Zoo Amersfoort. Utrecht is the largest city in the area. The old canal and the historic cathedral are some of the highlights of the city. In the Utrecht Museum Quarter you will find all the major museums. From the stadium of Driebergen you can be in the “shopping center of the Netherlands” within ten minutes. Amersfoort is also a city with a mix of old and new and many organized events held throughout the year. - For guests who use public transport: there is a train ticket which can be used all day to travel cheap in the region. These tickets are available at the Utrecht Central Station.
