This beautiful holiday home is situated 1000-1200 meters fromLake Balaton- by car it’s just 3 minutes, on foot it's 6-10 minutes. The house was built on a hillside, which means you not only have a fantastic view of the lake from your balcony, but it is also peaceful and quiet here. Behind the house there is a little path which leads up the mountainside to the Mária statue from where you can see the entirebayofKeszthelyas well as several small neighboring villages. The close proximity of nature, the lovely apartments and a beautiful vista help you to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. For your further enjoyment there is a 10-meter-long, 5-meter-wide, 1.5-meter-deep swimming pool which can be used in common with the other guests. Around the swimming pool you'll find garden furniture, deckchairs, a hammock and 2 garden couches. The pool and surrounding area can be lit up at night which creates a romantic atmosphere for evening swimming. Near the pool, on the „meadow”, there is a basketball court and table tennis table for both children and adults. The house is completely enclosed and has sufficient parking for up to 8 cars. There is also a barbecue area which can be used by all the guests. The pool has a removable roof, so in bad weather the pool can be covered and in good weather it can be opened.
This middle apartment has an area of 100 m² and is suitable for 4 persons. The apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen which includes a cooker, oven, fridge, toaster and coffee maker. There is a living room, a bathroom with shower, bathtub, double sink and toilet and another separate toilet. The apartment has two bedrooms. In both you will find 2 double beds. The apartment has a covered and an open-air terrace with deckchairs, a table and a sunshade. In the apartment there is cable television (with numerous Hungarian as well as foreign tv channels). The apartment is beautifully furnished with leather and wood furniture.
Gyenesdiás is situated near Keszthely Mountain, in the Western Balaton region, 100km from the western border of Hungary. It is right next to the famous Hévíz Thermal Lake and the town of Kesythely, known as the cultural capital of the Balaton.
The village offers a number of leisure-time activities for tourists. On the west side of the village you'll find Lidós Beach, which is popular with families who have small children. The other beach here is Diási Beach. It is the most beautiful and considered the best in the region. It offers a full range of services including restaurants, snack bars, rentals, a giant water slide, 2 beach volleyball courts, a football field, table tennis, streetball and waterpolo. It has a 500 meter long shoreline and broad areas for sunbathing. This is also a great place to cycle or go for a walk. In the village leisure, cultural and sports programs are organized each summer.
Gynesdiás is one of the most popular holiday villages in the region. It’s particular fascination is the water, mountains, beautiful landscape and grape and fruit plantation. Part of the land is covered by pines, which give a Mediterranean feel to the region. The majority of the protected land is woods. Here you will find the Festetics belvedere (232m) from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of Keszthely Bay and surrounding mountains. These natural features, as well as the man-made landmarks, are easily accessible via marked touristic roads and forest trails. You can also find some riding academies here. It is worthwhile to visit the region on horseback or take part in a mounted tour. Naturally anglers have not been forgotten as there are some ideal places for fishing in this area.
