The royal size living room (± 40 m2) is classically furnished and contains two large tables, a heavy oak lounge suite and plenty of cupboard space along the walls. A TV, VCR, DVD őplayer and stereo are also present. The new, well-equipped kitchen includes, among other things, a fridge, induction stove, coffeemaker, bread toaster and grill-microwave oven. The bathroom has a bathtub, sink and washing machine. There is a separate toilet and a separate storage closet for coats and shoes. The largest bedroom (on the first floor) is furnished with a double bed, sofa bed, easy chairs, sink and TV. The second bedroom, also large, has two single beds, easy chairs, a sink and TV. There are two more double beds and one single bed standing in the well-finished and isolated attic room that can be reached via a narrow stairway and trapdoor. The house has central heating. In the living room there is a very unusual wood-burning fireplace that can provide additional warmth for the whole house. Firewood is stored in the shed and can be used free of charge.
The little village of Stříbrná is extremely quiet and peaceful. A wide choice of shops and facilities are available in Kraslice (3.5 km). The neighbourhood, rich in woods and water, is inviting for an afternoon hike or cycling trip. In Kostelní (12 km) there is an observation tower that offers a panoramic view of Germany and the Czech Republic. The Přebuz Nature Reserve (8 km), the pearl of the Ore Mountains, is a hilly area with forests, rising rivers and swamps. Swimming facilities can be found in the two countries: the Czech Republic (Kraslice, Přebuz, Sokolov) and Germany (Klingenthal, Aqua park of Schöneck). Tennis and horseback riding are possible within 3 km of the house. You will find beautiful marketplaces with small restaurants and shops in Loket, Cheb and Kadaň. In Teplá and Chlum nad Ohří there are some convents and admirable renovated castles can be found in Loket, Horní Slavkov, Lázně Kynžvart and Bečov. There are also resorts such as Františkovy Lázně and Mariánské Lázně, and last but not least, Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) with its impressive 19th century architecture, pedestrian centre, mineral springs and swimming pool from where you have a wonderful view of the city. And what about a day in the magnificent capital city of Prague (163 km = a bit more than 2 hours driving) or carefully restored Dresden in Germany (166 km)?

Pets will be allowed - upon request - for 15 euro per pet per week. Smoking is not allowed in the house.
Pillows and duvets are available. You can bring your own bed linen and towels, but they can also be rented on the spot. A set of bed linen consists of a duvet cover, sheet, towels and wash cloth. Please indicate upon booking.
Kitchen towels are available.
If you would like for us to do the final cleaning for you, a charge of 50 euro will be deducted from the deposit.
Energy consumption will also be deducted from the deposit.
We kindly ask you to observe the house rules. Firewood is available for a fee of 15 euros / week.
