Lake Lipno Resort is situated on the long artificial Lake Lipno (40 km), among the quiet and unspoiled nature of Šumavagebirge, in southern Bohemia. It is not far from the borders of Austria and Germany. Most of the holiday season it is warm and sunny. Because of the abundance of water and the mountainous surroundings of the area, it is very suitable for a variety of sports, including water sports. At the marina you can rent sail boats. In the vicinity of the marina there is a beautiful and clean beach, and nearby you'll find a social promenade with restaurants, shops and an information center. From Lake Lipno Resort you can reach the 18-hole golf course on foot. Enjoy the landscape and culture of this region in ancient cities like České Budějovice and Cesky Krumlov. - The complex consists of five buildings, each with 3 levels. Because of the slightly higher elevation, you have a wonderful view of Lake Lipno from your terrace or balcony. The resort is equipped with all the modern and luxurious facilities. At a distance of just 100 meters, below the resort, there is an indoor swimming pool (where you have free admission in the afternoons) and the 'Bolo' Kids Club. There is plenty of secure parking at the resort.

This apartment, with an area of 66 m2, has a living room with an open kitchen, 1 bedroom and a luxurious bathroom. The living room, with access to the furnished balcony (9 m2), is fully-furnished and includes a dining area, a comfortable sitting area, a typical gas stove, internet access and a satellite TV (with foreign channels, Sport 1 and Movie 1). At the reception desk you can rent a DVD player and DVDs from a selection of 200 titles. Games and books can also be rented or borrowed from the 'Spielothek'. The living room has a sofa bed for two persons. A highchair and/or playpen can be reserved at the time of booking. The kitchen is equipped with 4 electric hotplates, a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and dishwasher. A food package can be placed at your disposal upon arrival (please specify when booking) and there is a sandwich service so you can pick up fresh bread every day at the reception. In the laundry room you will find a washer and dryer. The bedroom has two single beds and an additional LCD TV. For a small fee you can reserve a crib with bedding. From the bedroom you have access to your own private sauna. The luxurious bathroom has a bathtub, shower and double sinks. The toilet is separate. The apartment has underfloor heating. An ideal apartment for 2 to 4 persons.

Looking for a little action? Then you can go canoeing and rafting on the Vltava River (Moldova) or try pedal boating, rowing, sailing, paddling, canoeing and kayaking (available for rent) on the lake. The lake is also a fisherman's paradise, but fishing in the Vltava is an experience in itself (A permit is necessary in many places; available at a reasonable price). You can walk to the tennis courts and luge and school children can enjoy themselves in the daily Bolo Club. If you are looking for a quieter way to enjoy the beautiful Czech Republic, you can horseback ride into the wild from nearby Studánky or make use of the hiking and cycling routes in the beautiful surroundings. Bicycles can be rented locally. Just 500 meters away there is the Lipno Golf Club (partly closed for renovation 2008/09) which is situated amidst a hilly landscape and has some challenging ponds. There is also a 9-hole course which is open to the public. The other 9-hole course is for golfers with a membership card. Relax on the grounds surrounding the resort with its promenade and shopping arcade. At the indoor pool of Aqua World you’ll find numerous water attractions, a bar and sun loungers. Or how about a relaxing massage? For those looking for a bit of culture, there are several ancient cities nearby that are well worth a visit, such as the picturesque town of České Budějovice famous for its "Budweiser" brewery; Cesky Krumlov with a uniquely preserved center through which the Vltava River meanders; or the lively and friendly town of Hluboká. The latter has one of the most beautiful castles in Bohemia, built in Tudor style. Also worth seeing is Červená Lhota castle, surrounded by water; the castle of Kratochvile and the castle of Jindřichův Hradec in the romantic area known as Czech Canada. The capital of Prague is just 2.5 hours drive away and is perfect for an unforgettable day trip. You can park your car in a garage and take the metro to downtown where you can enjoy culture, nightlife, shopping and restaurants in this beautiful metropolis of Central Europe.

Ski equipment can be stored in the basement of the apartment.

The Aqua World Swimming Paradise is freely available during the high season from 4 am and in the off-season from 2 am. The statutory capacity is 91 persons. In November the pool is closed.

After receiving the travel documents and address of your accommodation, you can rent (at the front desk) ski equipment and / or subscribe to the local ski school.

A towel package includes: 1 large towel, 1 small towel, 1 washcloth and 1 bath mat per person.

A kitchen towel package includes: 2 tea towels and 1 hand towel.

Food Pack 1 (reserve when booking) includes: bread, butter, cheese, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, coffee filters, eggs, jam and orange juice.

Food Pack 2 (reserve when booking) includes: the same as Food Pack 1 plus 2 bottles of beer, 1 bottle of lemonade, chocolate, potato chips, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, crackers and French cheese.

When booking, you can specify whether you would like two apartments side by side (if you are, for example, 2 groups), an apartment close to the ski lifts, etc. If we can fulfill these requests, you will be charged an extra fee of € 15.
