Nicely equipped ground-floor apartment suitable for 4 persons. It has 2 bedrooms each furnished with 1 double bed. In the bathroom you will find all the necessary equipment including a douche and toilet. In the living room there is a couch for a fifth person. The kitchen contains all the necessary appliances for cooking and serving plus there is a dining place. The air-conditioning can be used if necessary. The cozy comfort is enhanced by the TV equipment. From the terrace you can enjoy a panoramic view of the sea. Small pets are welcome. Another terrace has a barbecue.
Crikvenica is a well-known tourist destination and wellness centre situated on Kvarner Bay in the northern Adriatic. The nearby airport on the island of Krk, the passenger and cargo sea ports in Rijeka, plus a good road and railway connection to Central Europe contributed to the early development of tourism here. Thus the present Crikvenica Riviera has enjoyed a tradition of tourism for more than one hundred years.
The entire town of Crikvenica is in fact a Riviera with its row of (almost) connected small tourist resorts: Selce, Crikvenica, Dramalj and Jadranovo. The town extends for about 28 square kilometres along the coast, which is about 15 km long and 2 km wide. It is situated between the sea and the elongated littoral reef and has an average altitude of about 300 meters above sea level. You can spend your holiday enjoying: the crystal blue water; long walks along the promenade; seafood specialties in one of the numerous restaurants; sports activities such as diving, sailing, tennis, beach volleyball or bicycling; and plenty of live music, disco music or cultural and folklore events.
There is an aquarium in Crikvenica which is well worth a visit for its Adriatic flora and fauna. In close proximity to Crikvenica you can see many attractions such as the world famous national park of Plitvice Lakes, with its beautiful waterfalls; the island of Krk, with its islet of Košljun and small town of Vrbnik that has existed since 1100; the woods of Gorski kotar and the amphitheatre in Pula.
Lifeguards are on duty from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (June 5-September 10).
