This villa, carefully restored and renovated, is located in the heart of Sicily, less than a mile from the small town of Piazza Armerina, in a rural environment that still retains all the charm and beauty of the Sicilian countryside. The accommodation still belongs to the noble house of Trigona, an illustrious family whose history is intertwined with Sicily and the chronicles of Piazza Armerina: important examples of their role include the monumental cathedral commissioned by Marco Trigona in the XVIth century and the amazing Palazzo Trigona which towers over the town, creating an impressive scenic effect. The villa consists of 2 suites and 13 rooms.
At guests disposal: furnished open spaces, mountain biking and a network of cycling paths inside the structure, a playground, an area dedicated to archery, a pentaque court, table tennis table, a room for watching television and listening to music, games for both children and adults and a small library. It's also possible to organize horseback riding excursions.

The rooms, located on the ground floor and first floor, are simple and elegant, with air-conditioning and a TV plus all the modern comforts. All rooms are equipped with a private bath and decorated with in a charming style, mostly using furnishings from the original period of the villa, some dating back to the 18th century, others from the 19th century. Some rooms can be equipped with a comfortable sofa bed for a third or fourth guest. All rooms have a terrace or balcony.
At guests disposal: a sitting room with fireplace used as a reading room, located on the first floor; a corner bar situated downstairs; a lounge room for listening to music and watching television; and games for the youth and older persons alike.

This historic manor house is situated in the heart of Sicily, in the town of Piazza Armerina, which is home to an archaeological site that is one of the most remarkable and important relics from the classical age, Villa Romana del Casale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The beautiful villa offers a comfortable stay and allows you to easily reach other interesting destinations, for a wonderful journey through the history and culture of one of the most beautiful lands of Italy. This area of Sicily is undoubtedly the ideal place for tourists who would like to get closer to nature and its rhythm, who desire to experience the charm of a rural environment, and who would like to get acquainted with genuine local products and be seduced by the best of its wonderful cuisine.
The rural area that is part of the estate will surprise you with the harmony of its colors, the variety of its trees and the scent of its flowers, which will envelope those who are pleased to walk along the ancient alleys of boxwood or the restored path of fig trees. Here, between one small plain and another, you can spot a little donkey or a mule, horses, goats, little hens and geese living freely in their natural environment or discover the old orchard or simply enjoy the shade provided by the pines or the beauty and tranquility of the oak woods.
