This spacious park in the city of Eernewoude lies in the middle of the lake region of Friesland, surrounded by extensive natural areas and lakes. The park is equipped with all amenities. There are comfortable bungalows, mostly free-standing by the water, with moorings for a boat. The park has nice facilities for water sports, hiking and biking. The park borders directly on the natural areas of De Alde Feanen and Princenhof. These water-rich areas are ideal for walking, cycling and water sports. All Frisian lakes are easily accessible from the park. Fishing is also possible. The sociable Frisian capital of Leeuwarden is situated approximately 15 km away and is definitely worth a visit. The small village of Eernewoude lies on the other side of the water and is accessible from the park by a small ferry. Other facilities in the park: visitor center, boat ramp and crane, a cafe / bar, bike and go-kart rental, Frisian Agricultural Museum, Internet via KPN HotSpots, canoe rental, swimming pool with children's pool, business park, a lake, animation team (during the high season), restaurant, boat and sailboat rental, snack bar, table tennis, tennis, fishing, laundry, water sports, sailing school and sailing lessons (during the high season).

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with 3 single beds in each bedroom and second bathroom with shower and toilet.

The bungalow is equipped with TV, garden furniture and central heating. There is parking space for one car to the bungalow. Almost all the bungalows of this type have a beautiful waterfront location including private dock, and are accessible by boat. A slipway is available at the park.

The Park is located near the Visitor Center of the National Park De Alde Feanen and the Frisian Agricultural Museum. This is an ideal starting point for hiking, boating and canoe excursions in the reserve, accompanied by experienced guides. This magnificent water-rich nature reserve is ideal for a wonderful water sports holiday but also makes a perfect place for hiking and cycling tours. Opposite the park lies the cozy lake-side village of Eernewoude, which is accessible by small ferry. In the summer, Eernewoude transforms into a lively water sports center. You can skûtsjesilen (Frisian for "sail") as well as enjoy a variety of activities. In other seasons, a holiday in Friesland is also an experience. Because of its central location, the park makes the perfect starting point for exploring this Northern Province. Only 15 km away lies Leeuwarden, but other Frisian towns such as Hindeloopen and Stavoren are also worth a visit. Be sure to visit the famous planetarium of Eise Eysinga in Franeker and the Jopie Huisman Museum in Workum. A walk across the mudflats or a boat trip on the Frisian lakes are also among the possibilities (As boat excursions in Friesland are very popular, it is advisable to book one in advance).

+ There is an ATM present at the reception. It is not possible to use credit cards in the park. Notes of € 200.00 and € 500.00 are not accepted in the park.
+ You are required to rent bed linen. If you reserved a baby bed, linen is not available. We ask that you please bring your own. Hand and tea towels can be rented or you can bring your own. A bath towel set consists of 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. A kitchen linen set consists of 1 tea towel and 1 hand towel.

+ Overnight visitors must be announced at the reception and all park charges and bed linen fees must be paid.

+ If you bring a dog, you are not allowed to leave it alone in the rented accommodation because of possible destruction to the furniture. This is true even if you bring a dog crate because of the possibility of noise.

+ We can not assume responsibility for lost or mislaid property, damage to property or personal injury incurred during your stay at Buitenplaats It Wiid.

+ The park facilities are open from 1 april until 30 september. Snack bar and restaurant have limited opening hours. Tennis court and pool are available from april until september.

+ The hospitality facilities during the low season are open on a limited basis.
