These studios are located on either the ground floor or 1st floor and are approximately 150 meters from the beach. Holiday Studio Type Ca has an area of about 40m2 and is suitable for 2 persons. Most apartments have a phone, all accommodations come with a TV. The interior is cozy and comfortable (interior furnishings/layout are subject to change as the apartments are privately owned). Each studio is clean and has a fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. The living room is furnished with two beds. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the surroundings.
The Edersee is not only the third largest lake in Germany, but also a very special rural location with excellent water quality and the clean air of the low range mountain climate. The 'Scheid' peninsula, formerly a sheep pasture, was developed into a holiday destination after the Second World War by 10 naval officers. On the peninsula you'll find the town of Nieder-Werbe which is one of the smallest villages around the Edersee. You'll find fields, forests, meadows and flat sloping sun bathing meadows here. It is a great environment for fishing, sailing, walking, cycling and a variety of water sports. Near the peninsula lies the "Urwald Erlebnis Steig", a great trail around the Edersee. An interesting variety of trees plus an incredible flora and fauna will make your walk a memorable experience. If you're lucky, during your walks you may even encounter some raccoons which usually spend most of their day asleep in hollow trees. Cozy historic towns like Kassel, Waldeck, Korbach, Willingen, Winterberg await your visit. Bad Arolsen and Bad Wildungen are some of the most important health resorts of Hesse. Smaller half-timbered towns that are also worth a visit include: Melsungen, with its historic city center; Fritzlar, a romantic town that has 10 defensive towers and thus is appropriately known as the "tower city", and Homberg, with its Gothic church, historic buildings and ancient marketplace.
