You will find the holiday park of Oignies 2 km from the center of the village of Oignies in the region of Vroin-Hermeton, 4 km from the French border. These 6 to 8 person bungalows are situated in a wooded area of approximately 12 hectares. All of the apartments have been recently renovated and offer the guest the warmth and hospitality of a wooden bungalow. There is a lot of space between the various apartments so you can linger in solitude. If you're lucky, you may even meet a deer, squirrel or wild boar! The foothills of the Ardennes offer a magnificent display on each excursion. In spring nature wakes slowly with the first rays of the sun ... stop and have a look at the newly emerging plants and flowers, and take time to listen to the song of the birds... In the summer the temperature is pleasant as the forests protect you from high temperatures. In autumn mushrooms sprout and the wildlife of the park begins to flourish ... In winter snow blankets the land and provides the opportunity to enjoy cross-country skiing. The park has a common bungalow where you will find a table tennis table, a small playground and petting zoo, and the opportunity to play badminton or volleyball. At the reception area you can freely borrow videos and use the barbecue and maps are available as well. The park also has a laundry with a washing machine and dryer. The holiday park serves as an ideal starting point for numerous sports activities: kayaking on the Viroin, horseback riding in Oignies, swimming in the pool at Couvin or Nismes, fishing in a local pond, in the winter, cross-country skiing in Oignies. In some cases you will find different rental periods. Check the conditions for exact periods.

This bungalow is suitable for a maximum of 6 persons. The whole (residential) area is about 40 square meters. The layout: a spacious living room with a sitting area, TV, video and dining area. The sofa bed provides sleeping for 2 people. There is an open kitchen equipped with a 4-burner cooker and extraction fan and a refrigerator. There are two bedrooms. One is furnished with a double beds and the other is furnished with a bunk bed. The bathroom has a tub and toilet. The bungalow has electric heating. In front of the bungalow there is a terrace with a picnic area. There is also a private parking space in front of the house. The houses are either free-standing or two under one roof.

The Thiérache, the area around Oignies, is a pure delight for anyone who loves vast forests and pristine nature. The foothills of the Ardennes offer wonderful opportunities for extended hikes or bicycle rides. Typical of this region are the original museums and a real steam train, which runs between Treignes and Mariembourg during the entire summer season. In winter there are cross-country trails and ski-runs. Hastière, situated 6 km from the French border and close to the village of Dinant, is a popular tourist destination known for its unique location on the Maas. Hastière also offers a variety of other attractions including caves and a marina club (offering sailing lessons). The best known and most spectacular activity remains of course the famous trip down the Lesse River by kayak or boat. The impressive Maas Valley is flanked by rocks lots (Freyr), magnificent castles, and forested hillsides. Throughout the year numerous events are held in the 'valley of living water'. Some examples: Carnival in Olloyund Vierves; flea markets in Olloy; Soap Box Derby in Nismes at the end of June or early July; the migration of Entre-Sambre et Meuse; open day at museums; steam train celebration in Treignes in September; and the Christmas markets from the beginning of December. Activities for children include the Espace Arthur Masson (animation for children in a former school); steam railway in the three valleys between Mariembourg and Treignes; and the little train from Nismes. Of course the playground and petting zoo with its goats and donkeys will remain the high point for the littlest children. Hide-and-seek, hiking, games and building are all part of fun in the forest...

Bijzonder vriendelijke mevrouw bij de receptie, sprak ook goed Nederlands. Park en bungalow voldeed aan de via de site gewekte verwachting. Voor rust en bos liefhebbers erg geschikt.

Alles was echt naar wens.

Woningen zijn van binnen verouderd.

Het was super. Gebied heel mooi en de ligging formidabel.

Alhoewel het huisje schoner had gekund en muffig rook, was het top. Kouder dan in omringende plaatsen dus wel aan te raden een trui mee te nemen. Het was daarom heerlijk thuiskomen na een wandeling of een bezoek aan de locale dorpen! De BBQ naast de heerlijk rustige omgeving was top! Ik raad deze bungalow aanbieder zeker aan!
