The ski resort of Valloire is a pretty little village full of charm, centering around its baroque church at the heart of the Galibier mountain range. Above all, the perfect family resort, it offers a multitude of activities for all ages. For your winter sports, Valloire offers you a vast skiing area, bathing in sunshine, dominated by the impressive Mont Thabor and the Aiguilles d'Arves. The ski resort of Jean-Baptiste Grange, world slalom skiing champion, combines all the elements necessary for a successful skiing holiday, offering 150 km of skiing, for a “100% skiing” holiday.

Ski to your heart’s content, in the Galibier Thabor (Valloire-Valmeinier) skiing area, with its 150 km of downhill ski slopes, 70% of them being at an altitude of over 2000 m. The domain is equipped with 30 very modern ski lifts (2 gondolas, 12 ski lifts, 17 chair lifts) and has 86 ski slopes for all levels. The 400 snow cannons on the resort guarantee excellent skiing conditions, from December to April. There are 3 slalom runs and 2 certified international competition slopes.

If you do not know how to ski but you want to feel the sensations, tandem ski rentals are available for some conviviality descents. There is also the possibility of night skiing on some tracks.

Easyparks welcome all the sliders for a first "freestyle" experience.

For Nordic skiing lovers, several loops at different levels allow you to discover the surroundings of the Telegraph and Galibier passes.

One of the main attractions of the resort is the Snowpark XL deemed among the best in Europe. A paradise for freestylers with a half pipe, a ski cross, slopestyle expert and a medium park. An easy park, for beginners, is also available.

In addition to the alpine ski area, the ski resort of Valloire offers cross-country skiing loops (10 km), pedestrian routes in the countryside and at altitude and 1 snowshoeing trail at the top of the cable car to Brive.
