Through an original concept you can discover the amazing profession of the fisherman. The course takes place in a former clothing factory now producing fishing nets. You will learn practical things like how to tie real fishing knots more. Well worth a visit. The Somme Bay is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in France. It is similar to the Zwin, but with an area of about 6000 acres it’s a lot bigger. In the nature reserve north of the bay, a paradise for bird lovers, there are many hiking trails and an educational center. South of the bay of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, a town with a rich historical past, you can while away the day away traversing the narrow streets, or enjoy a nice walk to Cap Hornu, or possibly even further, to Cap Hourdel.
