Another site worth visiting is the picturesque Popeye Village perched on the craggy edges of the island and located just a 10-minutes drive from here. Meanwhile, nature lovers can make their way to the unique topography of Malta’s bird Park, where they will find the combination of a wetland and salt marsh, as well as many opportunities to bird watch.
To hop on to the other islands in the Maltese Archipelago, guests can drive down to Ċirkewwa Quay in 10-minutes and easily take boats to Gozo and Comino from there. The nearest international airport and the stunning capital of Malta, Valletta, both are about a 35-minute drive from the holiday rental in Mellieħa.
