This spacious holiday home is part of a compact and cosy holiday park. The historical town centre of Franeker is only 200m away. The location is excellent for exploring the province of Friesland. The park contains first class facilities which can be used free of charge: a fitness center with computer-controlled cardio apparatus, indoor squash and an aerobics hall. In addition, you can rent a bike or a canoe or make use of the bowling alley with automated score-keeping.Next to the park there is an indoor swimming pool with children’s pool, slide, jet stream and bubble bath. Even the clients of this owner have to pay for the swimming pool. Last but not least there are a number of outdoor facilities like: volleyball and basketball.

Park Bloemketerp has its own indoor playground, the Monkey Town, located in the main building of Bloemketerp. The guests of Bloemketerp have the option of purchasing weekly tickets (€ 10.00 per child 1-12 years of age) & midweek / weekend tickets (€ 5.00 per child 1-12 years of age). With these cards, your children can play for an unlimited time on the playground during your stay. Adults/Attendants have free access to the playground.

Interior

This nice apartment is suitable for 2 persons and is situated between the 8-person villas. The accommodation has an entrance hall, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and terrace on the south-side. The living room has a sitting area with a sofa, armchair and cable TV. There is also a dining table with chairs. The open kitchen adjoins the living room and is equipped with a 4-burner stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave. In the corner of the living room there are two single beds. The bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet. On the terrace you have access to garden furniture. The house has floor heating.

Surroundings

This park offers excellent options for exploring the province of Friesland. Many places of interest lie nearby, like the historic city centre of Franeker. The cosy inner-city of this town, famous for being one of the eleven cities of the Elfstedentocht (a large skating event), is just a stone's throw away. If you would like to explore the area from an original point of view, you can hire a canoe at the dock of the park. For cycling lovers there are a number of routes like the Elfstedenroute (Eleven Cities Route). Remarkable sites in Franeker include the town hall, built in Renaissance style in 1591; the Martini church; the old courtyards; the famous Elfstedenbruggetje (bridge) and the old weighing house on Voorstraat where the tourist information centre is located. The planetarium of Eise Eisinga is also a nice place to visit. It's the oldest continually operating planetarium in the world. If you would like to enjoy the Frisian waters, a boat tour on one of the Frisian lakes or a day trip to one of the islands like Terschelling or Vlieland, will make for an unforgettable day. Sea fishing in Harlingen is also a very good option.

- Rental of the bowling alley costs 3,00 euros per person per hour. Use solarium costs 6,50 euros per person.
- The costs for pets amount; € 3.65 per day, per pet + extra final pet cleaning € 10.00.
- Monkey Town Bloemketerp € 4 per time, € 8 per weekend / midweek or € 16.00 per week per child (1-12 years, adult supervision required)

Prices do not include any surcharges during special events, for example the Elfstedentocht.

Employees are only allowed when booked directly at the park.
