Location

The accommodation is situated in an open area, in very peaceful, hilly surroundings with lots of greenery and overlooking a meadows with cows. The complex consists of eight houses; one of which is a cafe. The garden has an area of about 1500 m2 which includes a fireplace. The garden is rich in shady and sunny places and also has lawn furniture and a barbecue. Lake Lipno is just 800 meters away. After unwinding in the vicinity of the house, the tourist bustle begins in 2 km with terraces, restaurants and shops. In the small town of Horni Plana, 7 km away, you can do your shopping. At the house there is ample space for parking and you can also use an infrared sauna for 2 persons. This accommodation is suitable for groups of up to 13 people + one baby.

Interior

The hall of this spacious apartment is suitable for storing shoes, bicycles, barbecue, etc. In the spacious living room (48 m2) you will find chairs, tables, 8 armchairs, an original stove (with wood), a large television and a DVD / CD player. This room adjoins the open kitchen, which is equipped with a counter with 4 sinks and a 6-burner restaurant-grade stove with an oven which is large enough for 3 chickens. Next, there is a large fridge with a separate freezer area, a bread baking machine and a coffeemaker. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, each for 2 persons. A cot is available. The two bathrooms each have 2 showers and a toilet. A hair dryer is available. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, three bedrooms for 2 persons and one bedroom for 3 persons. There are 2 toilets and 2 sinks. Finally there is a boiler room. From the end of May / end of September you can enjoy the brand new heated pool and there is also an infrared sauna for two persons.

Surroundings

The cross-country ski trail practically runs through the garden! It is a popular sport in the Czech Republic, so there's trails everywhere! If Lake Lipno is frozen, you can skate on it. Only 23 kilometers away there is the Kramolin ski center, at Lake Lipno, which is well-suited for families and beginners but also for advanced skiers as well. The resort has ski lifts and chair lifts. The ski slopes have a total length of 5.5 km. There is a special children's slope, a snowboard park, night skiing, ski school, ski rental and ski service, and of course, restaurants and buffets. During the high season the cost for a 3-day ski pass for adults is € 42. -, and for children € 29. - (2005/2006). At the Kramolin ski center there are around 45 km of well-maintained trails. At a distance of 45 km you will find opportunities for skiing in Austria or Germany- among others, Reuth at Philips. In spring or autumn, when there is no snow, you can enjoy the numerous hiking and cycling routes. The town of Cesky Krumlov (30 km), a city with a medieval center which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list, is quite popular. Here you will find antique shops, art galleries and Bohemian crystal. Both in Cesky Krumlov as well as in Ceske Budejovice (50 km) there are covered swimming pools. After a day of winter fun, hiking, reading or watching TV at home by the wood-burning stove, you can end the day with a good dinner.

Conditions of the landlord:

You are asked to bring your own linen. All of the beds have single mattresses: 90 x 200.

Pets are welcome, but only by prior arrangement.

The costs for the final cleaning is CZK 1750, - (€ 70, -).
Upon arrival, a deposit of € 200, - has to be paid.
Electricity Consumption is charged with € 0.55 per kWh.
Gas consumption (propane) for the central heating and gas is charged with € 7.50 per m3 (1 m3 = about 4 liters of liquid).
Costs for wood for the stoves and / or campfire of € 5.00 per box.
The tourist tax is € 1,75 p / p per day.
All the above mentioned costs must be paid on the spot to the owner.
