The Bohemian Farmhouse

This large and beautifully restored farmhouse is located on the "Heights", on one of the cleanest areas of the Czech Republic, near the city of Havlíčkův Brod. Situated on the edge of a village, at an altitude of 600 meters, high enough to enjoy cross-country skiing. Although this is not a distinct ski area, 20 km away there are two ski resorts. There is no industry in the area, so you have plenty of clean air and pristine nature. You have one third of the building at your disposal. The owner lives in a separate part. You have your own entrance and private garden of 750 m2 with fruit trees and shrubs, a garden shed, furnished terrace and a fireplace for those beautiful spring and autumn days. The children will quickly feel at ease here with so much space to play in the snow. There are parking spaces on an enclosed area of the garden. Between November 1 and April 15 it is strongly recommended that you have winter tires and even snow chains. From the house and garden you have a beautiful view of the ever changing colorful valley. Directly from the house you can take splendid walks, or go cross-country skiing or hiking in the woods and valleys, which is fortunately still allowed in the Czech Republic. There are plenty of good cycling routes among the hilly landscape. The environment is not only blessed with beautiful nature, but there are also many historical attractions to see. An active or passive holiday: it's all possible here!

Up to 2 well-trained and non-aggressive dogs are allowed. Smoking (as minimal as possible) is allowed, but not on the 1st floor.
Bed, bath and kitchen linen can be rented on the spot, or you can bring your own. One set bed linen costs 8,50 euro, the price is including kitchen towel.
A stock of firewood is included in the price. You can buy more wood on the spot. Use of the washing machine, after consultation, costs 4.5 euro per usage.
