Location

The villa is in a secular pine forest with about 1200 sq.m. of a private fenced garden and is about 300 meters from the sea. It has two floors and the apartments are all well furnished; on the first floor there is apartment Azalea which is 100 sq.m. + a 50 sq.m. terrace, on the ground floor are situated apartments Buganville and Camelia, both are 50 sq.m. and can be intercommunicating upon request. The house is built on a dune and therefore each apartment has it's own separate garden.

Interior

This spacious apartment is located on the first floor and is suitable for 7 to 10 persons. It has an area of approximately 100m² and has three entrances, two from the garden (giving access to the living room) and one from the terrace (which leads to the kitchen). There is a spacious furnished terrace of 50m² which contains a large table with 10 chairs plus 4 loungers. The garden, complete with outdoor furniture, has its own barbecue and (outdoor) shower. The kitchen is adjacent to the living room and is fully equipped including a gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator, toaster, Italian coffeemakers, dishwasher and washing machine. The spacious living room has a fireplace, a table with 8 chairs and a sofa bed. There are three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a bunk bed, the second is furnished with a double bed and the third has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. This bedroom also has a private bathroom with shower. The double beds may be changed for single beds. There is another large bathroom with a shower, bidet, toilet and hairdryer. In the hall, which provides access to the bedrooms, there is a double bed sofa. The apartment is comfortably furnished and has central heating and a TV with satellite connection. In every room of the house there is sufficient closet space. All the furniture is made of Swedish pine and is particularly well-cared for.
The apartment is equipped with mosquito nets.

Surroundings

This house is situated amidst a beautiful environment which is renowned for its mild climate, beauty, history, poetry and famous wine. You will find numerous wine houses serving local dishes along with their fine wines. Examples of wines in the region: DOC Bolgheri, DOC Montescudaio, DOC Val di Cornia and DOC and ELBA. You also have plenty of choice when it comes to hiking, cycling and mountain bike trails or you can visit nature reserves (L'Oasi di Bolgheri) or archaeological sites in the area. There are even beautiful beaches with really clear water which are ideal for swimming, windsurfing and a variety of other water sports. In Baratti and San Vincenzo you will find diving schools. You can take excursions to famous cities like Florence, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Mssima Marittima, Perugia and Assisi. Elba Island is located 45 km away and is accessible by ferry, so you can bring your car. There are several stables that offer horseback riding. Children will also find plenty of opportunity to enjoy themselves, for example at the water park in Cecina or the adventure park of Il Cavallino Matto in Castagneto Carducci.
Every Sunday morning at 11:00, beginning from June the 8th, the owner organize guided tours in the botanical garden “La Soldanella”. The tours last approximately one hour, depending on the season and which plants and flowers are in bloom, these tours are also without cost.
