The farmhouse is a very cozy accommodation in wintertime. Join family and friends around the wood stove, while you talk about the fantastic ice-skating trip on natural ice. When it’s freezing well, there are several natural ice rinks in the surroundings. Also when the weather is slightly warmer, there are sufficient skating options. Ski lovers can enjoy a number of ski paths where you can learn how to ski. In Wezuperbrug is a real ski path where you can ski and snowboard in the open air. Throughout the year you can take the lift up and enjoy the descent afterwards. You can take lessons here.

Interior

The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms. The whole ground floor has under floor heating and a wood stove for many cozy moments. The spacious living room has a seating area with TV, DVD, CD-player and iPod dock. The ground floor provides a toilet, spacious bathroom with washing machine and two bedrooms with 2 box springs each (210 x 180). The open kitchen has a seating area, fridge, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, 4-pit stove, water cooker, microwave oven and freezer. You can reach the partly covered terrace with barbecue through a sliding door. On the first floor you have a bedroom with 2 box springs and a wash basin as well as large bedroom with two single beds and a double sleeping couch and wash basin. The beds on the first floor can be used as single as well as double beds. A highchair and child bed are provided free of charge for the little ones. There is ample parking space next to the farmhouse.

Serenity, nature and space are characteristic for the beautiful nature reserve the Reestdal, where this farmhouse is located. The Reestdal is also an ideal area to be active and to exercise. In the near surroundings you can rent bicycles and a little further at the Weerribben and Giethoorn are many water recreation possibilities. At “Thermen Zuidwolde” you can enjoy a visit to the sauna or a relaxing massage or beauty treatment. For a large portion of culture you are at the right place. There are several museums, such as the Drents museum in Assen, the Hunebeddenmusesum in Borger, the limekilns in Dedemsvaart or historic Orvelte. Very impressive is a visit to the Memorial Center of Kamp Westerbork. Tip: Children will thoroughly enjoy a visit to attractionpark Slagharen and the animal park Noorderdierenpark in Emmen. -the house is suitable for 6 adults and 2 children. The house cannot be rented by 8 adults
-For the number of people over 6 we count € 10,-- per person per night extra
-groups of youngsters not admitted
-for groups of adults under 30 years a deposit of 50 Euro per person is charged (except for families)
-there is no linen in the house. When you rent a linen package, this consists of bed linen, towels and kitchen towels, 20 Euro per pers.
