This beautiful home is situated on the edge of the forest in the elevated village of Langewiese. Just a few kilometers away lies the famous town of Winterberg

. The village has just 500 inhabitants, making it one of the smallest villages in the area. In the vicinity of the village you will find the specially constructed "Rothaarsteig" trail that extends for a length of 154 km (from Brilon in the Sauerland via Wittgensteiner Bergland and the Siegerland to Dillenburg at the foot of the Westerwald). From "the Rothaarsteig", which meets the requirements of demanding hiking enthusiasts, you can enjoy beautiful views in both summer and winter. The village of Langewiese itself has beautiful, almost flat trails, challenging mountain bike paths, cross-country trails and even ski and snowboard slopes nearby. The "land of a thousand hills", with its sunny valleys and endless forests, offers an excellent climate and opportunities for a relaxing holiday. In the village you will find several nice and cozy restaurants. You will also find a supermarket, bakery and bus stop.

This beautiful 3-room apartment is situated on the edge of the village of Langewiese and provides space for 4 persons. The bright room offers plenty of space and is nicely furnished.
There are two large bedrooms. The integrated kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary conveniences. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. You also have a terrace at your disposal so you can enjoy the sun. The house has room for storing bicycles and skis. Cars can be parked in the parking lot of the house.

The High-Sauerland, also known as 'the land of a 1000 mountains' contains high peaks, deep valleys, rivers, curvy roads, hilly meadows, vast forests and cozy little villages. The Sauerland is truly one of the most beautiful and diverse natural areas in Germany, if not the best! For hikers there is a network of trails for every level of ability. This network, which is hundreds of (beautiful) kilometers long, is varied by nature and offers magnificent panoramic views of the surroundings from wonderful vantage points. The city of Winterberg, situated close to the Dutch border and with a population of just 4500, is known primarily for its huge winter sports facilities. Yet there is plenty to do throughout the year: mountain biking, abseiling, gliding, golf and mini-golf. The closest ski lift is only 400m away, there is a ski lift in Neuastenberg (2km) and Winterberg (4km) as well. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of cultural, architectural and historical monuments as well. Furthermore, you will find a variety of nature and wildlife parks here just waiting to be explored. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous opportunities for children. For example, there's the Peter Pan-Neverland amusement park; the Mäuseweg, with all sorts of things waiting to be discovered in the forest; and the lookout tower on the Kahler Asten. For older children there is a climbing route, summer toboggan run and bungee jumping. If the weather is not so nice, you can go to one of the pools in the area complete with water slides and lots of water fun!
