The recreational park known as De Woudhoeve (The Forest Farm) is a rural place at the foot of the dunes of the North Holland Dune Reserve, just 4 km from the North Sea. The magnificent, heated outdoor pool and summer recreational team will help you relax because the kids are having so much fun!
In the park you will feel right at home because the facilities are extensive. For your culinary enjoyment there is a restaurant, café / bar and snack and sandwich service. For sports and games you’ll find a heated outdoor pool, a sandy beach, a playground and play area, tennis court, table football and billiards. During the high season there is a recreational team for some extra fun. And for those who would like to enjoy the surroundings without cars: bicycles and go-karts can be rented in the park.
In the vicinity you will find charming villages with cozy shopping streets and only 15 minutes away you can enjoy cycling from the beach and sea. The former fishing village of Egmond aan Zee (4 km) has a pleasant shopping area and several restaurants and terraces. The resort is adjacent to the beach. Be sure to visit the picturesque artists' village of Bergen with its summer festivals and art fairs.
Not only in the park, but nearby there are plenty of things to do for an active holiday including tennis, renting boats in Heiloo, beautiful beach excursions, covered wagon rides from the riding school in Heiloo (3 km), skiing on a 1300-meter-long artificial ski slope in the mountains, play golf at Sluispolder at Alkmaar, and fishing in the vicinity of the park (permit required).
There are a range of opportunities to getaway for the day including bargain hunting at the Beverwijk Bazaar (with Chinatown) and visiting a chapel in Egmond aan den Hoef. Further away and good for a day trip: Sprookjeswonderland in Enkhuizen, the steam train from Hoorn - Enkhuizen and the Sea Aquarium in Bergen and / or Den Helder. In the summer months there is a jazz weekend in Bergen, a cheese market in Alkmaar, an art market in Bergen and a light show in Bergen.

There is a pin code apparatus present at the reception. It is possible to pay by credit card. - Notes of € 100.00, € 200.00 and € 500.00 are not accepted at the park.

The deposit is to be paid upon arrival by debit only.
You are required to rent sheets. Baby bed linen is not provided. We ask that you bring your own. If you would like your beds made upon arrival, please indicate under "Bedmaking Service" when booking. Towels and kitchen towels can be brought or you can rent them in the park (you can reserve when booking).
For stays longer than one week, a 1 euro waste fee for each additional week or part thereof must be paid locally.
We can not assume responsibility for lost or mislaid property, property damage or personal injury incurred during your stay in the park.
A number of houses of the type that is illustrated here may have an additional facilities. When booking this type of home you have the possibility to book additional facilities. The fee for a single preference is 15.00 euro per person. Additional preferences available: pet-friendly accommodation, non-smoking chalet and chalet with a bathtub.
A DVD player, playpen, baby bed and highchair can be rented at the reception desk. You can also do this when booking.
